With almost 2/3 of the season left, a lot can change quickly, but there's no other team I'd rather trade places with right now.
I agree. I think they are the only team I think are as good or even better then we are. It would be a helluva WCF though! I would love to see it!
I can't totally disagree with that BUT I do find interesting to note that we have maintained our good play with our starting center down while they have struggled with their starting center out. Maybe that doesn't really mean anything but it is something to note and be aware of when comparing teams.

We have a damn good team! I wouldn't be surprised if we can beat Golden State in a 7 game series, but I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us too.
They can't guard Aldridge and our guards can shoot with their guards. I have no doubt we would win a series against them. We basically beat them earlier this season but the refs didn't call the timeout Batum asked for.
I'd say each team in the west has somewhere around a 1/8 chance. Some teams a bit more some a bit less. Being the favorite still means its far more likely we get bounced in the first round than make the finals. But its captivating actually have a chance of being a contender.
I think the favorite really has to be an east team. Only 4 teams with any sort of a chance. Cleveland, Toronto, Washington, Chicago in my opinion.

I don't buy it...yet. But the fact I don't find the idea completely preposterous on its face tells me we're pretty damn good.
