He's been unofficially too. Thibs is playing Mirotic at SF for obvious reasons.

Could be a blessing in disguise.

It might be the chance Snell needs to find his game.

    Haha. Yep!

Maybe he should get knee surgery so he'll feel as good as McBuckets. ;)

Snell will play tonight because Butler is out as well. He is not hurt, but bereavement at this time. They expect him back for Monday's game.

    So....Mirotic at SF!

Hmm. Starting lineup Rose, Hinrich, Snell, Gasol and Noah? I'm sure lots of fans are going to scream for Mirotic to be started at the 3, but I don't see it happening. Thibodeau is going to have to get all alchemical with either Hinrich and/or Snell and make at least one of them a scorer for a night.

    Should be interesting.

Why not start Rose and Brooks (or ugh, you know who) at guards and Jimmy at SF?

I suspect you're right but it's too bad. I think Mirotic could handle Jeff Green.

Jimmy's also out (bereavement) as trueblue reported above.

As for starting Rose and Brooks, the Celts have been starting 6-7 Evan Turner at SG. Frankly, that's going to be a tall order (pun unavoidable) for any of Rose, Brooks or Hinrich.
