"I feel like a new man right now, (compared to) what I did to start the year. I just feel fresh, man. My legs feel fresh, my knee feels 100 percent better, I'm squatting better than I ever have and my shot feels really good, so I'm excited to get back." Link
If his underperformance thus far can be attributed to the need for a knee procedure and he plays better going forward that would be great.
Early Feb would be fine by me. It gives him Feb, March and half of April to get ready for the playoffs and make a case for him being a key player or not.
Looking at the NBA calendar, it wouldn't be surprising if they waited until after the All Star break (Feb 13-15). For those interested, the trade deadline is Feb 19 this year.
I thought I'd post this for old time's sake. Dougie Fresh killed it in a Summer League by any measure. I still think there's a reasonable chance he produces this season. We'll see how things shakeout. Denny, I dig the new version of S2. Everything seems to run a little smoother and more intuitive. Thanks for the update. One small fix to get to on a rainy day: when you're typing in the embedding media box, or the embed image box, the typing and the background are the same color (white) so you can't see what you're writing.
I fixed the text widget colors so black text on white. Yes, Dougie raised expectations with a pretty much dominating performance in summer league. On the other hand, Snell was outstanding, too, and so was Lonny Baxter (he won MVP at least once). On the other other hand, if they do well in Summer League but fail in the NBA, could it be the coach's schemes?
