Your arguements are lacking, "gasol has stormile swft" LMAO. And Shane Battier rarely went into the inside. Its my opinion and my arguements support it. Im not going to repeat the same thing over and over. Most people can comprehend posts, but some cant Oh, btw, the last time a team with a "good big man" got the 1st overall pick, was San Antonio, and Robinson was out. So much for Bosh......

Do u have any idea how much better Memphis would be with a Mo Pete or Mike James...even if he was a ballhog....he would help more than Mike Miller.

Its 4 against 2, who had more help now?
They wouldnt be much better, cause Gasol made them better....Bosh wouldnt, u know why? CAUSE HES NOT A FRANCHISE PLAYER!!!A franchise player CHANGES a franchise for the better, Bosh hasnt done so. Argue with that. You cant, the record never lies. Nuff said, anything else you say about Bosh being a franchise player doesn't mean sh*t to me cause it wouldnt make sense.

Did he pick up the slack when Carter left? Yes. How did Gasol make them better if you claim right now that he has no frontcourt, if he made them better, and good enough to support him, then they'd still be there. Is Bosh helping Garbajosa and Bargnani? Yes. They are more comfortable in the frontcourt now a days, and they are improving with each game.
So just cause they're improving means Bosh is making them better? No, I dont say Gasol has made Warrick better just cause Warrick is playing better. But Gasol HAS made Miller, Atkins, Stoudamire, and even Jake Tsakalidias better form a direct result of his good passing. This isnt a knock on the Raptors or anyhting, you just gotta face it and see that Bosh isnt that player yet. I keep saying he hasnt proven it YET. But I guess you dont read clearly. I think he still can become that player, but he isnt now, people think he is, hence hes OVERRATED.

Just so you now, making players better is on and OFF the court, if you didnt know, Bosh was helping Bargnani get used to the game, by talking to him, explaining how the game works, what he should do etc...He even shouted at him a couple times, and Bargnani has responded. Gasol averaged 4 assists a game.. Lamar Odom averaged 5 last year..does Odom make his player better necassarily? No.
Well, its the way Odom gets his assist, the way Gasol makes his assist makes players better. I wouldnt know about Odom, dont watch much Laker ball. You keep avoiding something, A FRANCHISE PLAYER CHANGES A FRANCHISE FOR THE BETTER(dont say he has cause we're like 15 games into the season. When Bosh can take the Raptors to the playoffs...or even close, he'll be a franchise player. Till then, hes not.

I dont credit Bosh "only" for what the team has done so far, I credit the team. I dont credit Kobe for taking the Lakers to the playoffs only, Odom deserves some, Same with Shaq and Wade, Kobe and Shaq, A franchise player leads a team, not necassarily to the playoffs, because Iverson was playing his best last year, but he didnt "lead" them to the playoffs. Bosh leads, Gasol leads, thats why they are franchise players.
ALLEN IVERSON IS 6'0, IF THAT!!!! Ive never seen a big man "franchise player" not make his team better. Bosh isnt. Dude, you have to face it. All the facts ive brought to you make sense. You should just see it for what it is. You might be able to get a real franchise player like Greg Oden. 3 years ago, if somebody said Gasol wasnt a franchise player, I wouldnt disagree because at the time he wasnt. And he didnt get credit for it. But as for Bosh, people are saying hes a franchise player even though he hasnt made the franchise any better.Remember though, this is just my opinion. But I tend to think my opinion is correct. And I feel ive supported my opinion very well unlike you. Nuff said about this.

How about Darko Milicic? Kevin Garnett? The Wolves didnt make the playoffs last year and only had 6 more wins than us. Isnt the "franchise player" supposed to lead them to the playoffs/make the team better? The year before they had a winning record, then they dropped. Yet KG was still the leader. Why didnt they make it to the playoffs? because a team makes it to the playoffs, not the player
austingriz, saying Chris Bosh isn't a franchise player is just absured. Please, I encourage you to stop going along with that terrible comment. You are only making yourself look worse.
Darko, wtf? Lets leave it at that.KG has lead his sorry ass team to the playoffs. And now that the Western Confernce is more stacked than Pam Anderson, its incredibley hard for him to do it with Rick Davis and LMAO...... Marko Jaric. And yes, it generally helps a franchise player to be a big man, which Bosh is, but hes not a franchise player right now.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticBalla32 @ Dec 3 2006, 10:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>austingriz, saying Chris Bosh isn't a franchise player is just absured. Obvisouly me and Raptorsfan disagree on that subject...so lets move on.I cant believe im going to say this, and its not cause he doesn't play for memphis anymore. Ive always though this but never mentioned it cause, well, he was a grizzly But Shane Battier is quite a overrated defender. He has the same case yall are saying about Ben Wallace. Ive never seen him completly shut down a player (in NBA atleast). He gets steals and blocks and can make a good defensive play, but people overrated his defense. But he sure can sell pork rinds(local commercial LMAO)

I respect you actually sticking with it, but I don't understand how you could even say that. You say he's not a franchise player because the team hasn't won since he was drafted, right? OK.. well, Boston has missed the playoffs the last 2 years, is he a franchise player anymore? How about Allen Iverson? Kevin Garnett? Face it, Toronto doesn't have a good team right now. Neither does Boston, Philly, or Minnesota. That doesn't take away those players' capabilities though. Chris Bosh is easily one of the best young players in the league, and he's most definitely a franchise player.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>But Shane Battier is quite a overrated defender. If you saw someone else say it, you would have jumped all over them (much like everybody on BBW is jumping on you for saying Bosh isn't a franchise player).

I agree with the statement that Battier is overrated. He is a good defender and not a great one. Dirk embarrassed him in the first round of the playoffs last year.
