Yep. If there is one stat I could go to for how good a player is, it's + -

CJ has raised his PER to 12.1 but everything else is very underwhelming.

His Per-100 possessions doesn't even break the 20 pt. mark - and he came into the draft as a known scorer. For reference, Meyers Leonard scores as much as CJ per-100 possessions. Will he ever find his groove? Right now he looks like a giant bust. And that draft is turning out to look better than last years draft. Very underrated.

He's not a Neil draftee but Freeland has a very impressive 100.2 DRtg.

Looking at their stats C.J. is a slighty watered-down Rudy Fernandez at the same age.

Damian wasn't Neil's pick but CJ and Meyers were. Crabbe was some guynamed Bob in scouting pick. Neil has zero input on any of our good picks. Neil also didn't want to draft Blake Griffin when he was with the Clippers.

Who gets credit for the Lillard pick?

    Panic Thread.
    CJ's 3FG% > Lillard's
CJ's Defense > Lillard's, and Lillard has improved.

He hasn't been given steady minutes. It's kind of funny how the meme on these boards seems to be how Stotts is a Popovich-like genius for not giving his bench players steady minutes, and then make threads about how they suck. The whole "keeping players ready" by not playing them does not work for young players, period. I really like Stotts, but not this.

It doesn't happen often but I love eating crow and hope CJ can live up to his reputation as a shooter and overall scoring. He has the knack to score the ball that you can't teach.

Gobert is going to make that hard IMO - probably the best shotblocker in the NBA already and still is as green as ever.

Leonard has a lot to prove - can he do more than just shoot from three? I have a hard time seeing him being anything more than a late-career Raef LaFrentz.

At this point I'd let him expire to sign Andre Miller!

I figure the Blazers think CJ and Meyers will be ready by next season. Bottom of the bench for now

Bob Crabbe? Our scout thought his name was Bob Crabbe?

Uh, you're right, it doesn't happen often.
