I myself haven't had any bad injuries, but I am sure that some of you guys have, let's hear about them. For me, I have just had some minor and major sprains, cuts, bruises, and then I had two breaks:I broke my elbow during a basketball drill. I jumped up for a rebound, got it, but the guy trying to box me out took my legs out from under me (not on purpose) and I was holding onto the ball and tried to break the fall with my right elbow (which I guess wasn't to smart). My skin cut open and it killed to shoot the ball. Anyways, later I went to the hospital and they said I had broken the tip of my elbow off, but I didn't have to have surgery because it wasn't floating around my arm. Injury duration: I had a cast on for 3 weeks. The second, and most recent (this summer), I was at our basketball camp (Eastern Ohio) and my high school was playing against some team. I went for a rebound, and me and this other guy from the other team grabbed it. We both tried to rip it away from each other. The problem was he had the ball and my right pinky. He pulled it to the side of my hand pretty far. I heard a snap, but I thought I just cracked my finger. At the end of the day, after the playoffs, we went home and I couldn't see my knuckle anymore. I went to the hospital after I got some Wendy's and they said the bone in my hand that connects to my pinky was snapped in half. Thankfully, I didn't have to have surgery.injury duration: I was in a cast for a little over 2 months. It pretty much ate up my whole summer. What about you guys?
Ive never gotten injured - ever..in a game atleastAnd I play alot of different sports. Played two football seasons without an injury..
Me neither, never gotten injuredI've sprained my ankle many times in track but I heal in a couple of days
Broke my collarbone, sidelined me from playing sports competitively for half a year. I'll noever forget how painful it was...
The worst thing that has ever happenned to me was a bruised tailbone. I really dont get injured but I remember that being the most painful. I took a charge, landed right on it, and from then on I couldnt sit on it or run. It sucked big time..
Herniated disk..kept me out of sports for a full year..I played basketball through it but at the time the doctor's were fu*kin around and didnt know what it was..thought it was just a pinched nerve and it would be fine but I ended up getting surgery a year after the injury occured..then it took another 3 months to recover..so..I got injured in August 04, I got passed around from doctor to doctor from September 04 - June 05 and in that time I got cortizone shots, then they finally realized I needed surgery and I got it in august 05..then I had to go to more physical therapy from august 05 to november 05..and by then I was just trying to get back into shape..and then this year I went back and played baseball spring to fall..played football in the fall..am playing basketball in the winter through summer...playing lacrosse in the spring..should be fun lol

My mom had a herniated disc as well, hers must have been more severe than your because I had to help her actually walk. But those are very painful. For me, nothing major. I have had some ankle problems in the past. I have sprained my ankle a few times, and rolled it plenty of times, but I never broke it. I've had a couple bad sprains though. It's the worst though, when you first land on it. You hear the pop, you feel it lose it's strength, you fall on the ground, and it hurts like hell.
Air alert f**ked up my knees real good. Ive been in and out of sports for teh last year, but Im tired of it so im getting suregry

Don't know if I need surgery or not.</div>It's happened to both my arms... it sucks.I've also sprained both my wrists and an ankle.
I've sprained about everything you possibly can in basketball - In football I had some pretty bad hits which resulted in knee injuries (thank god no ACL tears or anything). The only thing I've broken was my nose - this happened multiple times.First time I broke it - Wresteling - 2nd time was in football, and 3rd basketball. The 3rd time I needed surgery because the septum was blocking my breathing. That SUCKED.
Ya'll are pussies. Jamming and bruising sh*t, grow some cojones homies. Try spraining your ankles so many times you lost track, breaking your right one, having surgery on both of them, and having arthritis and bone spurs in your right one and playing tennis about 15 hours a week with it not to mention other random conditioing. Also: 2 concussions, broken hand, fingers, toes, pulled chest muscle (worst muscle to pull ever, it sucks so much, I couldnt do anything for 2 weeks), and having little cartilige left in my knee. I'm like a f*cking walking injury, its something knew every week, it sucks.

I had a really bad left knee sprain playing Basketball once. It hurted so much man. I had to wear something on it and sh*t like that. It still hurts time to time. It was sore a bit today. I also sprained my ankle pretty damn hard during soccer too.
Sprained both of my ankles so much...it ain't even funny. Lost track on how many times. One time, I sprained my ankle so bad, it was as close to a break as it could get. Had to be on crutches for like, 2 or 3 weeks. Broke my left ankle and got a cist in it....Sprained fingers...Oh, and I didn't get this injury in sports, but it kept me out for a while. Fell off a bar at school I was hanging on to. Broke my wrist in two places (right wrist...my shooting hand), sprained a finer on my left hand, and almost got a concussion...
