(Apparently Memphis is trading for Jeff Green. I was tempted for a while there, but all the important stats say that he's pretty much useless, so happy for him to go to the Grizzlies.)

Jeff Green would have been great off the bench. Cheap rental as he probably would go elsewhere? Who knows.

There is likely a Blazers trade coming.

Astonishing all the movement that is going on with the west contenders and Portland essentially being unmoved. They are staying true to their plan. They believe in it you have to hand it to them.

I still think T-rob is getting traded and one of our younger wings like Barton/CJ/Claver.

    Thinking Wilson Chandler or Afflalo.

Either one would help bench production

I'd love to get Afflalo. If we are going to add a player it would be best to get him sooner than later so he has time to learn our systems and spell our starters.

Crabbe has been great this year but I don't trust him in the playoffs and CJ has been a disappointment. Wes can play fine at the 3 so Afflalo would provide great relief for both Batum and Wes. With Batum's shooting slump it would be a nice luxury having another good rotational player able to put in some lineups.

The name of this thread is dumb. I enjoy Simmons's podcast, and the Book of Basketball. They guy loves Portland, too.

Shouldn't the mods edit the title? I thought we aren't supposed to have cuss words on the title?
