<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BALLAHOLLIC? @ Dec 3 2006, 11:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>No he is NOT. To put him over MJ is a joke. I guess you missed all the games where Reggie was playing poor defense late in games and his man scored clutch baskets.1. Miller is not more clutch. How many defensive clutch plays has Miller made? Jordan made a lot of clutch defensive stops on the games biggest stage. Remember Jordan in the 1998 NBA Finals? Karl Malone one of the greatest power forwards of all time was stripped by Jordan with 20 seconds left on the clock, Jordan then hits the game winning shot over Bryon Russell a premier defender to win a CHAMPIONSHIP. I don't remember Reggie making a clutch defensive play like that... ever. I don't remember Reggie hitting a game winner to win a championship either.Jordan has hit game winning shots to win CHAMPIONSHIPS, Reggie NEVER did that. Jordan has made clutch defensive plays to win titles, Reggie NEVER did that. Jordan has made clutch passes to win titles, Reggie NEVER did that.Oh yeah, Jordan has hit 26 game winning shots for his career.</div>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vByu2YcHcPM, Guess he didnt play clutch enough on Reggie. Reggie is a clutch shooter, maybe MJ has the defensive edge, but he made the All defensive team, that was his speciality, as was Reggies clutch shots, he had his share also.http://experts.about.com/q/Indiana-Pacers-...-winning-1.html. Read that. "However, I will speculate that he's hit many, many more game winning shots than Michael. This would be because the Pacers, historically, won fewer games than the Bulls have by very, very close margins. (I'm avoiding saying that the Bulls were better.) " Like I said, MJ was better at dominating, Reggie's speciality was clutch. Again I say Reggie had his share, no way can you say he was better clutch shooter, as Reggie was up there. As for defender, I agree, MJ had the lockdown defensive type attitude/game. As for offensive presence, that can be argued.

You posted 2 game winning shots, The first 1 he pushed Jordan. Jordan has hit over 26 game winning shots, If you add in clutch shots overall then the number would be in the hundreds. It's not close.

I cant find the stat sorry, but do you know where you got that stat? and how miller compares to it?

Just like not putting Russell for rebounding. :brickwall:

I posted this back in April, and I dug it up. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>If you could take componets from several different NBA players, combine them into one, to create the perfect player, then this is mine:First off, the body will belong to Shawn Marion. He is one of the most all around players in the league, on O and D, and is a double double threat every night even for his 6'7 size.Secondly, the perfect player would have the arms of Tayshaun Prince. He has the 7'2 wingspan, and that is amazing, considering a wingspan like that can not only intercept passes greatly, but he can rise up and block shots easily, fitting right in with the Bad Boys in Motown.I need large hands. I'm not sure if this guy has large hands, but I am taking Steve Nash's hands. Near perfect ball handling, hardly any turnovers.Next, my player would have the heart of Allen Iverson. Two words describe his career: "Don't Quit!" But it doesn't end there for The Answer. I want his legs on my player. He is known as one of the quickest players. Not only the fastest, but one of the most agile. He would be on fast breaks and he would make tons of great plays on D.How about Jason Kidd's mentality. A pass first unselfish star that isn't afraid to shoot the jay is great for a perfect player. No doubt will he make his teammates better. You can't be perfect without Dirk Nowitzki's jumper. The three point champ during All-Star Weekend is amazing from all ranges. He also has the deadly fade away, that is almost impossible to guard.I'd like Tim Duncan's leadership, mostly because he is a three time Champion, and he sets an example on and off the court. He doesn't get into trouble, and is a role model to young teens.Next, I need Lebron James head. A familiar face that people recognize. No big deal, I just want it.I don't think that I am missing anything, but I could be. Post your perfect player.</div>I'd add Duncan's attitude, but I think mine is right on.

A little short there.Have you seen Ray Allen play this year?Ben Wallace isn't really as monstrous of a defender as you think. Go for AK-47 or Marion, or better yet Scottie Pippen if your going all time.I think that Jerry West is a tad bit more clutch than Reggie, but it's just my opinion.
