Do you think the NBA should add more teams? I think they should add 6 more or 2 more.1 for each conference or 1 for each division.I heard cities like Vancouver would be interested, Anaheim, San Diego maybe, how about Buffalo they used to have a team...Florida also (I actually read a couple years back the Raptors were to be sold there)what do you think?
30 Makes it even and organized... but I'd like to see another Canadian team, not liking just the Raptors.
I heard about Mexico might be getting a team. I hope its in the west, might bump Memphis to Southeast
Well, I dont think that their should be anymore teams in California considering they already have 3. I Think that Flordia could use a team and a team from Canada. So, I guess that I would want to add 2 teams to the NBA if I added any at all.
NO! period end of discussion. the NBA already has to many teams, the talent level in the league was so watered down for years that the entire game suffered. no way should a sub 500 club even have a chance at making the playoffs, but because the league is so weak with talent you have been getting that for years.

I like it the way it is, personally. 30 teams is perfect, IMO.But if they do, I do not think they should add 6 more. 1, maybe 2 if they do. The only place I really want to see officially get one (when the Hornets move back to New Orleans) is Oklahoma City.
if there were any new teams added, I would expect to see it in Las Vegas or St. Louis. Probably St. Louis, as the Vegas team would have a sh*tty fanbase, because not alot of peopole actually live in vegas.EDIT: oh yeah, oklahoma city proved they can support a team last year. that may be the next destination for a franchise.and btw guys, it may make more sense to leave it at thirty teams, but it's almost inevitable that the nba will expand. you know why? money.
I think Oklahoma City has been locked for a team, either Grizzlies/Sonics/Blazers. So I would go with St. Louis. But I heard Clipps might be moving, maybe to the Lou?

No, I think 30 teams right now is ok but if you look around the league, the makeup is horribly one sided. So what's the point of adding to that? You'll just have more bad teams in the league. That to me does not help in any regard unless a reason to stick NBDL players in the NBA.
QUOTE

it will make triple player threats harder to put together. and since the NBA is going global, they might as well make new teams so that the Euro players can fit in too as well.
I don't want to see teams be made up of one man threats opposed to three. Also, the NBA is not going global. It's just an idea tossed around that Stern has said will not occur any time soon. Plus it would be a bad decision to even make it global. Players don't want to be traveling to or living in other countries over a 82 game season. It's ridiculous.
The NBA already has too many teams. I would actually have the NBA get rid of 4 NBA teams and keep it at 26. Look around the league, there are too many average teams and the talent is too spread out. I would like to see Las Vegas get a team but only if another team is moved. Also detracting teams would help build and make use of the NBDL, of course detracting teams would never happen but it's my fantasy. Now in reality I hope the NBA doesn't add more teams but with Stern's quest for making more money it's inevitable really. Contrary to what most stupid fans say, Las Vegas would be an awesome place for an NBA team and I would eventually like one there. California and Florida have enough teams.

If the talent was more compact around the league the games would be much more interesting and the NBA would be more exciting.Hell, just take away the whole eastern conference
You guys act like the NBA says, "Oh well, this would be a good city to have a team." No, it doesn't work that way. Owners talk with the league and it's decided based on the citys economy and arena grants. You cant just throw a team anywhere. You have to have ALOT of support from the city and you have to have a population large enough for support.
Population really isn't that important, medium sized cities actually do ok in Attendance. Salt Lake, Charlotte, San Antonio, Memphis, and Portland have always had good attendence. In the modern NBA cities dont lose teams because of poor attendence, they lose them usually because of Arena issues or the fact that the owner is a complete dick.

When it comes time for away games in the USA, all the mexican fans will jump over to watch their team and not go back, we are having enough problems with illegal immigration.Nothing against Mexicans. But if they are going to keep jumping, I'm going keep joking.Like a lot of guys are saying Oklahoma City may end up getting one. The guys that bought the Sonics said they want to eventually get a team down there.

lol people in St Louis like basketball?I still don't like the idea of ball in Vegas. And I HATE the idea of an ASG in Vegas.
