It is funny how dump has been quite lately regarding Kreider, since CK has picked up his game lately. He was ready to banish Kreider to the minors just a month ago. He stood by MDZ for some reason who has an IQ of 13 year old pewee hockey player. Go figure.

I'd like to see a couple more studs like Kreider......a tall speedy forward causing
havoc in front of opposing goalers. I could not agree more with your
    assessment, Mrmel.

Nah Cage. According Chuck all is well. The playoffs aren't a second season or different game.

Chuck literally has been lurking here all day because he can't take the fact he was ripping Nash apart like everybody last year and got caught denying it. I'm sure he's planning his Stanley Cup parade already despite the fact it is January.

Here is the last thing I will say to you on this subject. We simply have a difference of opinion on this team and players.

I think we have a very good team. A team that if we added a physical top 9 forward with size, something I have been calling for all season, could be a very legit SC threat.

You on the other hand have been saying we suck all year and all our players suck.

I won't knock you for your opinion, totally your right to have that opinion. We simply agree to disagree. All good bro.

BTW...I was watching hockey night live today and EJ, Valiquette, and MacLean all picked the Rangers and Hawks in the SCF right now. Guess they are all idiots as well...LOL.

They look like a solid playoff team for sure but some like the hockey night live guys are getting way ahead of themselves predicting the Rangers in the finals when were not even at the halfway point. Moves will be made and who knows if injuries may happen. The young guys are maturing and helping the team gel but despite that you can notice things they are still lacking. When you have a HL/Talbot combo and Nash playing like an mvp candidate that makes up for some of it too. Stempniak has been really good and Klein should've been an all-star. They need one more solid vet forward net presence as we've beaten to death and we'll see if Hayes/Miller/Fast can last into the spring. Boyle as i've said will find his groove as he's starting to now and really makes the pp dangerous. Staal to me looks like he's lost a step and is struggling to keep up but others don't see it that way.

Team needs to add some pieces down the stretch. If not for anything but depth. Glencross might be an interesting option if the Flames fall out 0f it. He's an UFA next year. Exactly the type of forward I would want to add.

Of course it is way early sc, but they are picking now at the 1/2 way point. I am sure they will make SC picks 5 more times before the season ends. What does it mean today...not much except that we are playing well right now. Outside of that doesn't mean a darn thing...LOL.

I was watching Craig Button on NHL network last night, and he said McD, Girardi, Staal, and Boyle are most likely the best 4some on D in the NHL. Now I am not sure why Klein wasn't mentioned, and I am not sure I agree with him, but he said it.

He also said that going to the SCF last season, and coming up short, was a huge plus for this team experience wise and is fueling them.

All means nothing big picture, but the Rangers are getting a lot of respect from the "experts" at the moment.

The same "experts" are easily swayed by winning streaks.
Watch these same people when Rangers lose some................
same as us fans on this board. And the world goes round and
    round. LOL

For sure cage. Means nothing right now outside of people think the Rangers have a good team, and are in the mix of teams that could make a run this spring. Outside of that doesn't mean a darn thing really.

I don't want to hear that positive crap. No die hard Rangers fan with a brain is positive. I've watched this team forever, seen three finals and they have won one of them. The Rangers make you experience a lot of pain.

With a few exceptions all fans feel that way I am sure dump. Fans of 95% of sports franchises would say what you just said. We obviously feel it more with the Rangers, but go ask Caps fans, or Flyer fans, or Blues fans, or Dolphin fans, or Jet fans, on and on.

That's the way fans think in general.

It's a fun team to watch this year that's certain. The fact that the young guys look like they will be at least solid going forward is important too for cap reasons and that they don't have any real sure stars in the system though Buch and Duclair could be dynamic.
