Blazers hold the Bird Rights, Right? Comes down to how much Paul wants to spend.

I just don't seeing it happening. Kobe is an Alpha Dog. Moving to POR isn't going to change the mindset with him imo. It is who he is moreso then mindset.

Dude, if Kobe wouldn't submit to a Pau and Dwight frontcourt nothing will change.

I'd love to see his reaction when Damian waved him off to go for his own ISO lol he would show his underbite and then chase down a water buffalo after the game.

I think Kobe is intelligent enough to know that his days as the man are over. In the right dynamic with LA, he would have realized this. The question, is does he want to compete for championships for the rest of his career. What's left of it. Or burn the remaining resources he has in a situation that is going no where. Mentally, he would have to adjust. But the dude is smart. He's still a great defender. And he has a chance to help.

And here I sit desperately trying to come up with another under the radar acquisition so that this doesn't go down as the "trade for K*be thread".

To rank the 4 trades I came up with in order of which I think would have the biggest impact.
    1. Gerald Green
    2. CJ Miles
    3. Wesley Johnson
    4. Danny Granger
I would make the moves in this order
    1. Miles
    2. Johnson
    3. Green
    4. Granger

I can't wait for February, when we make our big free agent acquisition: a new starting center! He's got a great reputation, is totally Portland, and was the lead shot blocker on a great western conference team earlier this year. Then we can move Kaman back to his spot off the bench, and not have to rely on Freeland or Leonard for too long. Should really shore up our bench!

Well considering they want to tank and their biggest hole is PF, he would be the perfect fit. Also, truck has a ton of talent and would be the perfect player for a rebuilding team.

I've liked wroten for a long time but I don't really see the fit. He needs the ball in his hands and he's not much of a shooter. Might as well just give CJ more minutes.
