    I know Chuck but if the aisles are coming at you playing like it's game seven you better step your game up to play like a team seven there's no excuse I'm tired of people using that excuse all the time

    Like I said, to me that is not the issue tonight. We are just playing a terrible 2nd period and the Isles are taking it to us...good for them.

    Game far from over though. We just need to get our legs and speed going. Losing Stepan hurts, but far from over.

    Another team playing like it's 'game seven' is such a stupid excuse. One team giving it their best to try to beat another team....that's all it is. "Oh, the Rangers just aren't trying as hard as the Islanders"....if that makes you feel better go right ahead but it's a senseless argument. The Islanders are flat out skating circles around the Rangers so far, good for them. There is still plenty of time left to go.

    Isles very strong on the forecheck & face offs(surprise!).

    Isles outshooting Rangers 2(28) to 1(14).

    Stop the BS sc. They played a terrible period. Is what it is. I am sure we will now get the oh the sky is falling posts. This sucks and that sucks. Again the team is not going to win every game. Played a shit period for the first time and got what they deserved. Is what it is. Give the Isles credit.

    We played a terrible period and that's all there is to it. Give the Isles credit for taking full advantage of it. The puck almost never left our zone the whole period. That's it.

    What excuses Mess? The Isles have taken it to the Rangers and deserve this win. The Rangers played like shit the whole 2nd period. What can you do. Not going to win every game. Of course I am pissed with how we played in that period, but I am also not going to flip out and act as if the world is ending, which I PROMISE YOU will happen on this board tonight/tomorrow.
