why is it all of sudden the isles are this big, bad hockey machine. Their d is still suspect and not sold on Halak either. They are having a tremendous regular season.
BTW... stepan better be not out for an extended period of time or we fucked.

Isles sure make it look real easy. Consistency vs uncertainty.......
Isles wanted to make their statement and they have succeeded
in spades......they're burying Rangers in their home building.

Thank goodness there will be tomorrows.....for the Rangers.

Wasn't Stepan playing the power play?

The Isles are playing great right now, you have to give them full credit, they deserve it. LONG way to go. We weren't going to win our last 46 games, so we take a bad game tonight, a bad period really, and move forward...all we can do.

Message better get through to Sather, we need another forward. I will be furious if he does nothing.

The whole post game is going to be oh we had a bad second period, Which is bullshit because they didn't really play good the whole game

Our power play defense and what a broken nose has to go at it with some Goon

1st period was pretty even. We hit 3 posts. The 3rd period didn't mean shit either way good or bad because it was 3-0. The Isles didn't dominate the 2nd...they destroyed us in the 2nd period. We didn't even have the puck at all.

Credit to the Isles, tomorrow is another day, we weren't going to win every game, look forward to Boston.

I am way more concerned about Stepan and the tough 3 games we have coming up on the road. One L whatever. This cannot turn into 3 or 4 straight or 3 of 4 overall. Some really tough games the next 5 days.

I predict a big bounce back against the Bruins after this flat shit performance tonight.

They have to get the next one. I don't want to see a losing streak start after that awesome stretch.

I predict Sather will do nothing. Not enough cap space unless it's something big

If Sather does nothing, aside from it being an epic fail like the trade DL in 2012 was, we will not win the cup, or even make the SCF again IMO. I just don't think we have enough size or depth upfront to make that type of run with this team. I personally don't think it is a question...if we don't add another top 9 forward we cannot win a cup...period. That is how I feel. Could be wrong of course, but I just don't see it as is.

If for no other reason than what I said in my other thread. He will look at the replacements coming. A speed forward with top finishing skills in Duclair. A speed forward with top puck handling skills in Buchnevich. A speed defenseman with size who is solid defensively in Skjei. That really makes the speed of Hagelin and J. Moore replaceable from the system next year.
