Because you're not voting and telling other people to vote, I wanted to organize an effort to get Dame the 1 million votes he needed and I got shot down from all angles

Don't even go to the woe is me angle. I have voted. But no, I don't remember to vote everyday for multiple times a day.

Kobe is going to start (unless he bows out) because fans (as a whole) want him to.

I'm ready for the NBA to take the flopping punishments to the next level. Hopefully they re-evaluate it this summer

Arm the refs with tasers, to be used during stoppage-of-play reviews? It might also cut down on the amount of complaining certain players get away with.

Would your opinion change of Kobe if he decided to sit out the all-star game, so a more deserving player gets a spot?

Ya because I'm sure LeBron wants to play with a rookie kid.

But if the GM was smart, he would have found complimentary players. Cleveland has all the pieces to build a perfect team around LBJ. For example: trade Waiters, Thompson and varejo for Hibbert. Then use Kyre for Dragon and Bledsoe. Then package wiggins and filler for Korver.

Starting core of: dragon, Bledsoe, Korver, LBJ and Hibbert is better than what they have now.

What a great image. Harden flops. Refs review the replay. Lead official walks over to Harden -- Tasers him. This time, the flopping is real.

Absolutely and I think he would do that EXCEPT I believe that he thinks this could very well be his last shot at any All-Star game.

As I remember the story LBJ wouldn't sign with the Cavs till they got a star player and LBJ wanted to play with Love.

Well I'm sure the scenario would change if those other players mentioned were brought in.

Tristan Thompson turned down a $13 million-a-year extension offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The deal would have been worth four-years and $52 million in total.

Most NBA observers expected a contract in the $10 million per season range or as much as $12 million if Klutch, the agency representing Thompson founded by colleagues of James, pushed for it.

Wow--that's incredible. I can't imagine that he thinks he's going to get a deal better than that. The only other explanation is that he wants out of Cleveland

Could be that he knows LBJ will be leaving town

Holy hell, I thought Tristan Thompson is only worth $3-4M per year. I guess it really does pay to be in the top-50 in the league at your position.
