No one. Webber is there best offensive big man. And in no way am I defending him. I could score on him. I know he's a huge defensive liability. But the guy is STILL capable of being a 17 and 9 player in the league, and if the Sixers are going to keep him, he needs to be on the floor.</span></span></div>Agreed, but the thing is that Webber just needs one of his breakout games to get back in the groove... however I just can't stand seeing him shot 5 for 1323949384 each night until he gets that breakout game. I haven't been as mad with him since he "returned from injury" (ironic that he returns once Shav goes down) since he has been dishing the ball out to cutting players (especially Carney). What really pisses me off is when Cheeks decides to go small and puts out a line-up of AI/Green/Carney/Iggy/Webber... Webber cannot be our last line of defense when we go small... hell, he can't even run the floor that well, so what's the point of him being out there with that line-up? I'd much rather see Sam or Hunter out there instead of Webber. Cheeks is just as big of a problem, moreso because he seems to be slowly losing control over the team. And don't get me started on his clock management and game management skills, because they have been horrendous at times this past year and a half.

He's 6'6", good jumping ability, very good defensively, and long arms. BUT, he's a three man and the main reason he's playing the four is because of necessity. We'll see more of him at the four now that Shavlik is down.I anticipate the Sixers being in the lottery, and who knows...maybe they'll end up with solid true big man like Al Horford or Aaron Gray.</span></span>

And have the 6'4" Willie Green or 6'7" Rodney Carney covering power forwards? Webber is the best big man the Sixers have. And heres a news flash. Most of the points scored in the league now a days are jumpers. And how can you even begin to guess on how many behind the back passes he completes? Thats a total guess and an idiotic statement. Im sure the following posters will agree with that. He averages 1 1/2 turnovers per game. Look how many he's averaged the other part of his career and you tell me how bad that is.

And you wanna talk about dominating the ball? The Sixers start two point guards in Allen Iverson and Kevin Ollie, no one else on the team has a chance to dominate the ball. Webber is averaging the least amount of minutes of his career, and now people are saying now more than ever that CWebb sucks. The only reason he's not playing as much is because the team is looking in other directions, and Webber is going to be gone soon.

Try posting some stuff that makes sense.</span></span></div>
whoa whoa whoa! I never said Green or Carney should be playing PF! I said with the amount of mid-range shots Webber takes (and misses), I'd rather those looks go to Green or Carney. As in shots from mid-range. So you honestly believed that I meant to start a combo guard (Green) and an athletic combo wing (Carney) at PF? Give me a break, bro. Then you give me negative rep for that post and say it was retarded lol. You just had a BIG misunderstanding.

    - Yes, a lot of shots taken in nowadays game are jumpers, but that's because the league is being taken over by perimeter players. Chris Webber is a 6'10'' PF, and he has been asked to play more down low. Also, he DOESN'T MAKE his jumpers on a consistant basis whatsoever.
    - Sorry I didn't study game tape and give you the percise statistic for his behind the back passes completed and thrown away. Give me a break, that was so nitpicky. Bottom line: he attempts those unnecessary passes way too much, and a lot of them don't end up where they need to go.
    - Kevin Ollie doesn't start anymore, Iguodala and Carney have been.
    - Iverson can dominate the ball, he's arguably the best 6 foot player ever to live, and he's one of the best scorers in the league still. Webber tries to dominate the ball, when he is NOT producing.
    - No, the reason Webber doesn't play is not because they are trying to look for other options to test it out. He isn't playing as much because he's on a major decline, he dominates the ball and doesn't convert, and he doesn't play a lick of defense.

Try posting stuff that makes sense? Bro, I always do. Try understanding my posts correctly instead of accusing me of things that I didn't say, then proceed to lash out at me for no apparent reason (especially considering you misinterpreted what I said BIG time).

Just a thought, mabye if webber continues to suck while the sixers don't notch up many wins then I see a big chance of the sixers getting a top draft pick and then drafting greg oden, a true big man. lol, it will never happen.
