<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Peja Stojakovic and David West will both continue to be out of action for the next three games at least. Stojakovic is suffering from back spasms.

Stojakovic joined his teammates during the early portion of Sunday's practice, coach Scott said.

"He's still sore," Scott said. "He was able to push it a little (Sunday), but I don't want him to push it too much."

West hasn't played since November 12 and has avoided risking further damage or swelling in his elbow by not shooting at all.

"I don't want to take a chance at doing something too early that will get it angry again," West said. "Once I'm able to shoot, I think I'll be able to (return)."</div>
This really sucks that these guys are still out, they are clearly the 2nd and 3rd best players on the team. The Hornets have lost 5 straight though, they really needs these two. Marc Jackson has been playing decent, but he's definitely not the same as David West, and not many people in the league can replace Peja's shooting.

    Get well soon guys.

After that hot start by the Hornets they are playing bad, and this is a huge reason. When healthy, these two make the Hornets a completely different player. I have watched a couple of games since these two have been out. I think it's smart of West to not do anything that agravates his elbow to much, it would be much better to have a fully healthy West in the lineup, than a hurting West that comes back to early and has to take more time off later on down the line.

Wow! Why are so many players suffering from back spasms? Never heard of it in young people before last season.

From my great sources here in the OKC, if David West doesn't return in about a week or so, hes gonna get surgery. You heard it here first

West is going to have surgery and the Hornets have confirmed that Peja is going to be out two months after having surgery. This is a big blow to the Hornets. This situation reminds me of the year we had Jamal Mashburn, Baron Davis, and Jamal McGloire miss most of the games.
