<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Riding a 12-game winning streak, the Dallas Mavericks try to capture their seventh straight win over the Washington Wizards on Monday. The Mavericks made the Wizards a victim in their tear on November 21 with a 107-80 rout in Dallas. Dirk Nowitzki collected 30 points and 14 rebounds for the Mavs, who made 14 3-pointers.Dallas is coming off a 109-90 victory over Sacramento on Friday. Josh Howard scored 24 points and Nowitzki added 18 and 10 boards for the Mavericks, who owned a 49-38 rebounding advantage.Meanwhile, the Wizards continued to struggle on the road, falling to 0-8 away from home after a 112-94 setback to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Caron Butler had 21 points and 10 rebounds, but committed six turnovers and DeShawn Stevenson added 12 points.Gilbert Arenas scored just 10 points for Washington, which has dropped five of its last seven games.</div>LinkI think the Mavs win this game. They are coming off a couple days rest. They extend the winning streak. Here's an interesting stat for you guys, the Mavs are 42-7 when Dampier gets at least 10 points.

http://www.nba.com/games/20061204/DALWAS/b...=scoreboardhomeArenas went off. 14 in 4th quarter. But 12 is still the best win streak so far this season.Dirk with 27-9 and 4-5 3ptJosh Howard only had 5, and every Wiz starter had double digits. All around player of the night would be Caron Butler with 14-9-7.

Good game. I could have said "great" game, but when it matters most, we did NOT deliver in the late minutes of the 4th quarter on the offensive and defensive side. If we lost that game, I would have threw the TV out the window.. who loses a game where they had a 31 pt lead? I'm still pissed because we should have won this by 15+, but instead we win by 9. I'm happy we finally beat Dallas, and then we halted their streak, but we should have finished stronger at the end. A win is a win, no matter how ugly it is. :drunk: (I always say that) [IMG]

Time for the mavs to go on another win streak. I guess this loss is a good thing. The mavs don't want to peak too early in the season.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Pwned bi*ch.</div> [IMG] Basically this game too little, too late. I was hoping for a longer winning streak but 12 is the longest of the NBA season and that's saying something. Hopefully we come out tommorrow, meeting New Jersey on a back to back won't be easy.

Whew....I thought as a Spurs fan that the Mavs were never going to slow down. They have been playing great basketball as of late, but they ran in to a very dangerous Washington team. They might not be the best, but they can go off on you on any given night and that was shown by Gilbert Arenas' performance.
