Brandon Thatch vs. Stephen Thomson will headline the Fight Night Card.

Hendricks will face Brown on the Dallas card under Pettis vs. RDA

Robbie Lawler wants to take some time off and fight in the summer, supposedly

Good to see Hendricks wanting to stay active but this is bad news for the winner of MacDonald/Lombard. If Hendricks beats Brown (he should), his trilogy fight with Lawler happens in the summer. I doubt MacDonald/Lombard want to wait until October-November for their shot.

When I first read the news I thought "wow, the UFC listened!" but as it turns out Lawler wants a break. He said this months ago. Guy fought five times between Nov 2013 and Dec 2014.

I'm sure it burns the UFC to lose another title fight for 2015 but if Hendricks beats Brown a lot of fans will ease up on the rubber match.

Hendricks SHOULD beat Brown. This is a fight where he should focus on his wrestling. Hendricks fighting at home, too. I imagine he wanted to fight in Texas, again. Love this fight.

    Lawler deserves time off.

    Sucks for Rory/Lombard.

eh, I still feel like Rory should gain some more experience regardless. I watch his fights and either he makes good dudes look average or he's beating solid dudes not great ones. It just feels like he's going to have one of those 3-4 unsuccessful title fight careers to me. I don't Rory and think 'it's only a matter of time until he grabs the title from some poor fool and holds onto it for the next 5-6 years'.

To muddy the waters even more, DFW told reporters that Kelvin Gastelum could get a title shot by beating Ty Woodley.

I think DFW is just trying to hype up Gastelum. No way he gets a title shot.

DFW also said that he would love Nick Diaz/Robbie Lawler II.
