The Phoenix Suns have assigned guard Archie Goodwin to the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League. This is Goodwin's second assignment to Bakersfield this season. In his first assignment he averaged 15.7 points on 48.6 percent field goal shooting, 3.7 rebounds and 30.9 minutes in three games from Dec. 26-30. In addition to three games with the Jam this season, Goodwin appeared in five games with the team last season and is now averaging 22.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 33.8 minutes while shooting 49.2 percent from the field in eight career D-League games. Goodwin has played in 12 games with the Suns in this his second NBA season, averaging 3.9 points in 7.8 minutes. The 6-5 guard has scored in double figures on three occasions this season.
