The nominations were announced & someone noticed that no blacks were nominated for a best actor award. Al Sharpton referred to this latest story a "Racial shutout". This shit is just never going to end.
However, the usual annual quasi-documentary movie (Selma) about African Americans being mistreated and persecuted by the wicked white man of America is showing in theaters. Just to keep some animosity and bad feelings alive and well. After all, America needs to have it constantly on it's mind....… ....know what i mean?
Yeah I'm sure it was done intentionally. Did I mention that Selma was nominated for Best picture? Maybe non blacks should get pissed off for.................................. A TV show called....."Blackish" The "United negro college fund" An entire network called (BET) "Black entertainment television". I mean can you just imagine the protests for a TV show called "Whiteish"? The "United caucasian college fund". Or "White entertainment television". Just fucking ridiculous.
The state of the black family was better off during segregation in many areas. Only 20% of blacks were born to single mothers in the 50s, now its 75%. They can vote now, but keep electing folks that enslave them without the reminder of the chains. This isn't what Selma was about. Dr. King would be ashamed. I've always liked this quote: This society's deprivation depends not on our differences but the separation within. Unfortunately this can be misinterpreted. Some use this as a social justice crutch, but to me the answer is actually quite simple. Diversity isn't the issue with society today, the issue is how isolated and compartmentalized each group wants to be. There will be no justice in the US, until Sharpton goes behind bars for life, for enticing inciting riots. Climbing on his wooden horse, demanding justice in the form of an eye for an eye.
