I'll try to explain better why it's not so easy. When you create a post, it can contain all sorts of BBCodes in it. A bunch of them in the same post even. The server side process of converting a page full of posts from BBCode to HTML for display is CPU intensive and it has to be done for 20 posts per page (or whatever setting you have). To get around this, the software converts the BBCode to HTML when you create the post and stores it already converted in the database. So now it only has to fetch the 20 pre-rendered versions for a page full of posts, no processing involved, no CPU load.
Somehow the permissions got reset in admincp. I fixed them. You should be able to edit your signatures.
This will be a test for Denny's programming abilities... Denny, make it so anytime someone bumps a thread that is over 2 months old a BUMP tag/box thingy is placed in front of it in the title.
BTW The resources feature is ideal for the post game quotes and other documents we get from the Blazers.
