    Exactly 23!

There's no point in saying something before you're on the field with team & some games with personal experience under your belt

Here's a novel thought....Tex continues to be a languishing slug the second week of June and stand pat Joe finally begins a platoon at first base as most of the lineup is hitting and scoring runs at a good rate with Gregorius and/or Pirela,Refsynder,Drew doing surprisingly okay - and the rest of the team continues well throughout the year..........

We'll all be waiting with great anticipation for the final Word from Rick.

    lol

    Okay, I got it....I think.......

Pentland is presumed by (?) to be a fool because he made comments about Gregorius who he saw alot of when working with the Dodgers 2008-2011 and Beltran who he previously worked with.
(now who looks....sounds like a "fool"?)

No, wait.....I REALLY understand it now.....the guy who has been hired as the new batting coach of the NY Yankees shouldn't give an interview days after he was hired.

okee doke! Thanks guys.....you are truly the brilliant open minded ones.

Honestly I give NO CREEDENCE to a damn thing Pentland has to say, as I for one have seen him use his magic hocus pocus to no avail with the Bums, during that era. In all honestly the bums would of been better off without him, as they have one of the best hitting coaches in their Mgr. Donnie BB.

Not to mention the great Mark (I'm not here to talk about the past) McGwire.

Look what I found, the OTHER new batting coach has opened his mouth.
Yep, he also made comments about a team AND players whom he has never coached.....and also commented on a player/players he previously worked with.....
.....gee whiz, this sounds familiar.....um...where have we seen this before.....?...
Here we have Kevin Long saying "its not about me" but by the 3rd paragraph its ALL about him. lol

You can't make this stuff up. Lmao!

Actually, I think a few of the boarders now look to be drunk with their silence on Long doing basically the same thing Pentland did.

They DO know, I guess, Pentland like Long has also worked with another team as a batting coach and their new teams each have ONE player who they have previously worked with? lol

Do you smell prejudice....or hypocrisy? lol

....oh, by the way, its too bad Kevin Long never "coached" Ted Williams, he might have been the last .500 hitter.

    lmao

    =========================================

^^^ Oh, you mean like mouthing off while really saying nothing before he's had his first BP session with any of the players?...sorry, I don't recall Long ever doing that.

...and if you go back and read, NO ONE said anything about Long until YOU decided to irrelevantly drag him into the convo.

...and you still didn't answer my question; drunk?...stupid?...or just plain bored?

...so I'll assume that it's all of the above?

I'm taking the wait & see approach. The same thing Pentland should be doing. And keeping it to himself.

^^^WTF?...are you into skin grafts and root canals too?...why do you keep doing this to yourself...you really should just let this go.

...you wasted enough time to scour the net for THAT?... Did you even read the article you linked?...apparently not.

...read it again because according to your own article, unlike Pentland, Long actually made his comments observations "AFTER his first serious work in the batting cage as hitting coach for the Mets."

...and "Kevin Long says he has watched at least 1,000 swings of each Mets hitter, and this week he worked with several of them in Port St. Lucie. "

...again, I don't know why you brought Long into this discussion in the first place, that's your fault, not mine...but hey, as long as you keep grooving those weak fast balls, I'll keep knocking them into the upper deck.
