See, everyone seems to be extremeley high on Monta and expects him to be a dynamic player. I'm not sure if I'm buying his game so far this season because he's done it in playing time, but it seems like he's cooling off and becoming more and more inconsistent. Monta is a poor defender, he needs to gain some muscle because he's going to be pushed around by bigger guards and is really going to suffer because of his lack of muscle and strength. He also turns the ball over too much, and doesn't seem to be playing at the level he did the first week of the season. Don't get me wrong, Monta is a great scorer and has speed, quickness, and a great overall offensive game. But he lacks strength to be anything more than a scorer. Monta Ellis is the next Allen Iverson? Let's wait before we compare a young kid to one of the most prolific and toughest guards to ever play the game. Therefore, I'll take Kirk Hinrich. He's consistent, a true leader, a great passer, and a great floor general every single time he's on the court. He has a great knowledge for the game, and you know what to expect from Kirk every game. He's a much better defensive player than Ellis, and has a more polished offensive game to give him the better overall game. Hinrich is a more complete player, and has been playing at this level for a couple seasons. I would rather take a proven guard in Kirk Hinrich, than an unproven Monta Ellis that's been playing well for 17 games this season and hasn't proved to me that he'll continue to play at this level throughout the rest of the season.Since last season Hinrich has gained some muscle and has improved his muscle tone. I'm not sure if this is because he's tan in the second picture but I can still see improvement in his lower and upper body while Ellis has not gained much since he came into the league last season.[IMG][IMG]

I dont knwo why, but Im leaning more towards Monta Ellis. The guy is the better scorer out of the two, andis also the better athlete. Altough right now Hinrich is the better player, and has a better all around game, I still believe that Monat Ellsi will improve enough in the other categoiries to becoem a force in the league and maybe even an allstar
