It was Eli (actually, worse) and the same thing happened:

    http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/giants/post/_/id/31453/no-one-reason-for-elis-picks
From ESPN: stuff like "he had a bad game/season", "he didn't forget how to play the position", "got unlucky", etc.

When Eli threw FIVE picks against SEA last year, even the Daily News wasn't blaming Eli.
What he WAS was solely responsible for putting that absolutely perfect ball where only the receiver could get it for the game-winner. Just like Eli put the ball right where only Manningham could get it. And now he's 10-0 against Super Bowl-winning QBs and on his way to his second in 3 years.

Reminded me of Roethlesberger in the SuperBowl, 5 minutes of Brilliance preceded by 55 minutes of suckitude.

Thank you Ron, Skill my ass, that ball was just thrown toward the end zone (Hail Mary) with the hopes that someone on his team would catch it. It was the luckiest toss I've ever seen. Hell I'd bet that if you could get a close up on Wilson on that toss he's probably got his eyes closed. SKILL? year right.

Wilson the playmaker...can run for over 800 yds,
Are you sure you saw the play? Maybe you should ask a sympathetic friend if he saw Wilson maneuvering between a couple of Packers and making about as GOOD a throw under those conditions DIRECTLY in the exact area, across the field, where the Seattle player was and (as smart fans already know) gave the receiver every opportunity to get his hands on the ball.
Rodgers on his best day couldn't make that play.

The guy who won that game for Seattle is Lynch. You're blind or didn't watch the game if you think anything different.

That play was nothing but sheer incompetence by the packer defender. The ball didn't even reach the endzone.

Wilson made it happen, and as I said in the above post- Rodgers on his best day couldn't have made that play...open you're eyes and recognize the best all around leader/winner/QB this side of Tom Brady today is Russell Wilson.

Until the NFL and NCAA create a Unity pact together, and come to terms with Coaches, who have wrecked havoc and 5 years worth of Sanctions against NCAA FB Teams. Then the NFL will continue to be enablers of fools and cheats, while the NCAA will pay the price for these fleeing coaches bullshit/crimes.

Take Pete Carroll, he decimated USC FB. No scholarships, no bowl games, no TV or TV revenues, and a ton of other shit, hung on the heads of the USC Team like a weight, while trying to tread water in the Ocean.

Carroll destroyed USC, and if he returned to So. Cal, it would not be a pretty reception. The man deserves a bullet b/t the eyes, IMO, or at least in the ass...!

NTM-the night prior to the NCAA levying Sanctions to the Public, Petey, bought a one way ticket out of LAX to Seattle, and the rest is History. Pete signed his Seattle Contract, just hours prior to the NCAA going Public.

IMHO, I believe a College Coach who breaks all the rules, should not be privy to being a NFL Coach at least not until the Sanctions against his college team, have run their course. In other words, I'd love to see the NFL/NCAA double up on ensuring cheating Coaches, cannot run across the border to flee sanctions, of which they were aware of or a part of. Onec those Sanctions are completed, then let the dumbasses apply for a NFL job.

IMO this is only fair, if a Coach creates or allows an environment to cheat, then he should also be held accountable, not able to flee the scenes, without some kind of NFL lockout for said offender....! just my 2 cents...!

Look at the link that was supplied, he chucked the ball in the air as he was getting hit in the direction of 2 receivers & 2 defenders & prayed that he wasn't going to throw his 5TH interception & that one of his players would catch it. Snap out of it, he got lucky on that play. With that said, his play in overtime was flawless.

I disagree on both fronts for numerous reasons.

NTM- a Champion Caliber QB with SB rings; does NOT sit on the sidelines and cry when his team loses in either a AFC Championship game or SB.

As for the Patsies, my sister could QB a Patsies Team designed to run with a mediocre QB....with blinders on my sister....!

But then Hell Wade Boggs cried a river in the dugout of the 86 Series...! I enjoyed watching Boggs hit, yet after that Little League level of emotional bankruptcy, I've seen LL Teams with more Moxy and Sportsmanship than Boggs, or Brady.

Each and every player knows going into any game at any level, they just may be the one's to lose. If that much is not ingrained, then heaven help them.

Like I said from the start you can have any opinion you want. It's just silly though to try and run down a QB with the numbers of Rodgers. He's also going to win his second MVP. The guy can make plays.

Just looked at it again couple of more times and it keeps looking better.
Not only was he about to be hit within a second, he actually turned his body in mid air to get the ball out in the direction of the receiver - and if you look carefully you can see the receiver breaking towards the endzone to Wilson's left and Wilson spots him....and for someone to be critical of the pass because it wasn't thrown on a "line" is just plain ignorant. Wilson got nailed as he was throwing it way across the field..and it WAS accurate....accurate enough for the receiver to just reach up and grab it.

And....incidently, Wilson also took the best hit cheap-shot Mathews had to offer earlier in the game.

Now can you stop embarrassing youselves.

...hmmm, lemme see...how can I put this in a way that my meaning won't get lost or misconstrued?

    ...how about this...you're nuts.

...you're completely outnumbered on this topic yet according to you, we're the ones who are "embarrassing ourselves"?

I still say this is a much better play, especially because it wasn't for the right to go to a Super Bowl. Add that to the mix, and Carr would have a record field day, given the right mixture of a SB contending team; like the Pack.

Yet, Rodgers does indeed deserve the MVP....!
