Ugh, come on. He is strong as hell, incredibly powerful, but he is not dunk contest material, coooome on. I don't want to see him in it, no offense to him. He's not going to impress anyone with his mid-air "flair." He's going to be like Amare in it - all power dunks, except a couple ok looking toss ups (either from his teammate or he'll throw it up a certain way). Then he'll get high scores because of the power too. :ranting:

I want to see the athletic swingmen actually impress with their height, flair, and mid-air moves. Howard will jump high, turn 180 degrees slowly, and slam it hard. Give me someone like Gerald Green, someone like Rudy Gay, etc.

I think he'll be impressive.James White, DHoward, Nate Rob(to defend), and Gerald Green should be in this.

He didnt do amazing, but he had some flashy ones, sure hes a bit smaller than Dwight, but they have similar body structure: long, tall, kind of wide, powerful, not amazingly high verticals.

Big guys should not be allowed...ugh...Amare Stoudemire stunk the last time he was in and Howard will stink as well. Big guys don't have the ability to be creative and because they are big they don't get the big scores... :thumbdn1: Not that I should care...the dunk contest has been a snorfest the last three years....everythings been done.

You gave a healthy Amare another chance then Im sure he would win. He is a creative dunker for his size. But Howard is not. We've seen him through down some sick ones, but the were just done by his long arms and strength.

ugh..to me, the dunk contest is about creativity and finesse. That's why I dont really like big men in the dunk contest, because they are more power dunkers which really isnt what the dunk contest is about in my opinion.
