Baffling how a rich powerful organization like the New York Yankees have to tip toe around an obvious dirt bag playing the political correct game and cannot find legal ways to get rid of him.

Maybe the NY Yankees can find a legal way to get rid of the person/s who gave him his current contract extension.

I;d have to say point well taken however when the Katzenjammer kids gave A-rod that time and money they probably thought they were spending wisely and well. Old song time changes everything, Getting tired of Alex this and Alex that and that scenario will worsen after ST begins. That old BS "he's our brother and he made a mistake is pure shuck and jive. . His team mates should be saying you're a dirt bag , shut up, and clean up your act. When I served on active duty a guy like A-rod would be known as the Company Dud and dealt with by his peers. We could not get rid of the recruiter who signed him up but we could deal with the immediate problem.

I'll be real curious to see the reaction when he hits his 6th HR of the season. Assuming of course he actually gets that far.

...another good reason to keep him off the field.

    Good old Hankenstein.
Although I did like his little "RedSox Nation" tirade.
    Somebody needed to say it.

    March 1, 2008. (ESPN.com)
"Red Sox Nation?" What a bunch of [expletive] that is," he said in an interview with The New York Times' Play magazine. "That was a creation of the Red Sox and ESPN, which is filled with Red Sox fans.

"Go anywhere in America and you won't see Red Sox hats and jackets, you'll see Yankee hats and jackets. This is a Yankee country. We're going to put the Yankees back on top and restore the universe to order."

Funny thing, the Yanks did win the WS the next year. lol

What did you expect Him to say. Any Poster here would of said as much, on all fronts....I see nothing special by the Yanx Ownership's rhetoric. Shit, I've been saying as much when Hank was still in Diapers...!

According to Torre, the Clubhouse were the 1st guys to say out loud to Alex- 'A-Fraud', and obviously that IS how the rest of the Nation, came to know him as such. Prior to 03. Now if the team mates will do him in, any way or another, to make life miserable, that would be nice too....! It's not going to make any difference in positive production as I don't expect an ounce of such, other than a load of crap, from a big mouthed Cheat, Fraud, and Perjurer, as well as the fk who turned on MLBPA. Now that took the cake.....!!!

Perhaps a Stupidity HOF can be opened in time for Alex's retirement...! No need to wait but a day or so, no 5 years waiting to get in....!

    Oh really?
How many other "owners" have you heard say similar things about one of their rivals......don't be bashful, I'll wait.

Seriosuly , you think I or other owners are that naive?

Shit for starters, I'll try to stick with more modern era Owners, than elder Monumental fixtures of the dead ball on Era, like Connie Mack, John McGraw.

Hell you mean you never read about Ban Johnson, going after his many nemesis before any of us were born? That WAS the norm. His nemesis BTW- were Boston, the Giants, Bums, Phillies, and Pirates Owners?

Lets see, we could be here all day, or night:

Charlie Finley, in more ways than you could imagine....

O'Malley only versus the Giants, with no love by any Bums Ownership since the usual Dick Williams led charges of on the field battles. You may blame it on Durocher or Marichal or Stoneham's fault. You could liken the trio of O'Malley, Finley, Stoneham, to FDR, Churchill, and Stalin, you cannot compare much other than to say, FDR and Winston could not stand Stalin or what he stood for in WWII; yet both knew they'd have to team up with the Fascist ASS Stalin, to finish off Hitler. The 2 already knew Stalin was a killer of more of his own people than Hitler would any and all, persons....BTW- O'Malley and Stoneham did NOT go out for dinner or drinks when Marichal clobbered Roseboro...!!

The Singing Cowboy now, never ever had a bad thing to say about any other Team, Nation or Owner...this man had more class than any owner in baseball, perhaps, or so said Reggie. Doesn't mean he was the best owner ever, only he had world class.

Bill Veeck, seriously who DID he ever say he liked? Oh yeah, Bill opened up baseball to a pastime camaraderie than most, yet he had his likes, and strong dislikes too. Ask the Twins how well Veeck treated them...! LMAO, seriously you thought Veeck would cease a feud b/t both Teams long before his tenure to take the torch...?

Marge Schott never had a nice thing to say about any other Team, period....! She made her Saint Bernard shit on the Visitors side of the field.

We could do this all night long. You want to know about Ass Hole Owners who have treated theirGM's and/or players worse than any other, you'd have to look at Hank Greenberg's year as a Buc.

Just because Turner was a well polished TV man, sharp, witty, he knew what buttons he could push for any desired effect. Not all owners are like Turner was. In other words, yes only King George picked Fist Fight in Elevator's, for good press, and one pissed off Owner, on Media tho' wasn't it, or did he do Kung Fu on the entire Hotel????LMAO..

On the surface I don't see the issue with a player training with the greatest hitter we've seen in the modern era. If I recall correctly, Bonds trained an entire team last year. However, this is Arod. You'd think he'd realize that this isn't the brightest idea.
