5:58 seconds left in the first quarter, the Rockets are up 17-7. Wow, the Warriors are going to have to figure something to do against Yao. He has 13 of those 17 points, and is drawing fouls on their big men like crazy. He has already drawn two fouls on Biendrins or however it is spelled, and a foul on Murphy. The Warriors are going to be hurting down low tonight, as the Rockets do not seem to be showing any signs of passing to anyone else.

At the end of the 1st, the Rockets are clicking out there, up 35-20. Mcgrady and Yao are both out of control, the Warriors have almost no answer for those two. Yao with 17 points on 8 of 10 shooting, and Mcgrady with 11 points on five or seven shooting. What I like is how Mcgrady is letting the offense flow, and not forcing any of his shots. He is moving well without the ball. Nice showing by both of these two's. The team is playing good defense, and moving the ball well to get it to Ming and Mcgrady. I am impressed so far.

Yeah, that was on like three of those guys. The Warriors are pretty much throwing three bodies at him after he gets the ball, and still having no luck. Yao's passing out of those double and triple teams is looking nice to. This man is simply out of control so far tonight.edit: I haven't watched Spanoulis do almost anything good tonight, they need to sit him on the bench for a while and let him think about things.

Wow, What a nice play between Yao and Head. Nice reverse by Head. The best thing to do I think is send V-Span to the NBDL so he can get more used to the American Style play. He looks confused and so outta control out there.

Halftime. Gee wizz, McGrady is dishing out some nice passes to V-Span but doesn't seem to hit it.44-65 Rockets. McGrady with 16, 2 and 4. Yao with 23 and 3. They can't be stopped.

At half time the score is 65-44, the Rockets are playing great ball offensively. I have already been praising Mcgrady and Ming, as well as DSoung has, but to further praise them Ming has 23 points in the first half, and has looked like a beast so far this game. He is scoring from downlow, he is shooting from mid range, he is passing the ball and looking dominate thus far. Mcgrady has 16 points, and 4 assists so far. He is passing the ball, and really only shooting when open. The first ill advised shot I had seen from Mcgrady was with about 3 minutes left in the second quarter. Every shot before that one seems to have been wide open shots. He is really scoring within the flow of this offense, which makes me appreciate that 16 points in the first half even more.I am loving the activity of both Hayes and Howard on the boards. They are hustling around, moving, and are a great compliment to each other I think. Howard is looking very good today, moving around on offense, getting open, and making his shots, while rebounding and playing pretty good defense at the other end. I never saw him move like that in Orlando, but tonight he is showing alot, I am impressed with him, his 9 points, 8 rebounds, and his leadership tonight. The whole team is playing good defense, and moving the ball on offense. The only player that I have been a little dissapointed in, is V-Span, and I agree he may need a little time in the NBDL to pick some things up. You can tell he has the skills to help out a team in the future though. For the Warriors, I really see them settling for two many jumpers, outside shots and not moving the ball around nicely. I think they need to get more going to the rim, try to draw a little foul trouble on Yao, Hayes or Howard. These guys just are not looking fluid on offense, and defensively I just don't know if there is much these guys can do when a team like the Rockets is playing like this. Defensively I just feel sorry for the Warriors.Dsoung, you are right, that play between Yao and Head was beautiful. Good pass by Yao, and great movement without the ball by Head.

Ming with another beautiful pass, this time to a cutting through the lane Mcgrady for the dunk. Mcgrady had a beautiful pass just a minute ago to Hayes down low, this is some of the most beautiful passing I have seen in a game.

So at the end of three the score is 93-68. That quarter was a good quarter, especially for Tracy Mcragdy who went off with 13 points in that quarter and 29 on the game. Yao started out the quarter with a turnover, and an airball by good defense on two possesions from Foyle, so Mcgrady took over. Him and Battier exchanged assists to each other. He made some nice passes to Battier and Hayes, and now has 7 assists. Then Ming passed out of two double teams to a cutting Mcgrady. This was beautiful this quarter. Ming then scored some more, and has 27 on the game now. The Rockets are just to good.Edit: I think towards the end of the 3rd, and beginning of the 4th Mcgrady has tried to force a couple of passes, but made another shot. 31 on the game for him now, this is amazing that him and Ming have combined for 58 points, and 11 assists. Assuming each assist counts for only two points, Between the two of them, they are responsbile for 70 points of the Rockets so far.

The bench is playing pretty alright. Despite the turnovers, they look good.EDIT:Wow, Put V-Span in the NBDL already. He's so outta control out there. 5 turnovers off the bench from him...in 11 minutes.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>HOUSTON(AP) Tracy McGrady scored 31 points and dished out seven assists and Yao Ming added 27 points as the Houston Rockets routed the Golden State Warriors 118-90 on Tuesday night.Chuck Hayes grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds and Juwan Howard added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Rockets, who shot 54 percent (45 of 84) against the NBA's worst defense. Houston won for the sixth time in seven games.McGrady showed no effects from the concussion he suffered after taking an elbow from Dikembe Mutombo in Saturday's win over Cleveland. McGrady hit 13 of 25 shots and grabbed two rebounds with three steals.Yao, meanwhile, manhandled Golden State's big men, making 12 of 17 shots, most of them dunks and layups. He also had eight rebounds.Houston was the fourth straight opponent to reach at least 108 points against Golden State. The Warriors came in allowing an NBA-worst 106 points per game.Monta Ellis scored 19 and Baron Davis added 18 for the Warriors, who've lost four in a row since Coach Don Nelson earned his 1,199th career victory. Nelson is trying to join Lenny Wilkens as the only coaches to reach the 1,200-win plateau. The Rockets led by 15 after the first quarter, by 21 at the break and 93-68 heading to the fourth quarter. They've won six in a row at the Toyota Center.Yao and McGrady sat out nearly all of the fourth quarter. The Warriors, the league's best shooting team, shot 39 percent (32 of 82) against Houston's league-leading scoring defense.Guarded futilely at the start by 6-foot-11 Andris Biedrins, Yao scored the Rockets' first 11 points, the last six on easy layups.Troy Murphy, also 6-11, replaced Biedrins with 6:53 left in the first quarter, but Yao promptly rebounded a McGrady miss and threw down a one-handed dunk. The Warriors, averaging 105 points per game, missed 12 of their first 15 shots and trailed 26-7 eight minutes into the game.Murphy hit a jumper from the free-throw line to end Golden State's three-minute scoring drought, but Yao answered with an easy baseline jumper. He got a standing ovation as Juwan Howard replaced him with 3:23 left in the quarter. With Yao out, McGrady carried the Rockets' scoring, finishing the quarter with 11 points. The Rockets led 35-20 after one, their highest-scoring quarter of the season.Yao returned in the second quarter and the Warriors resorted to double-teaming him. But Yao still towered over all of Golden State's defenders and caught a high pass from Luther Head for another dunk and a 39-22 lead. The Rockets went 10-of-10 from the free-throw line in the first seven minutes of the second quarter and McGrady's 3-pointer with 5:03 left in the half put Houston up 56-28.In the third quarter, Adonal Foyle took his turn defending Yao, but Yao dropped in a hook shot, then assisted on McGrady's dunk that put the Rockets up 79-54.Notes: G Anthony Roberson replaced Murphy in the lineup and made his first start of the season. Murphy scored one point and grabbed one rebound in 14 minutes in Monday's 129-89 loss to San Antonio. ... The Rockets topped 100 points for only the fourth time this season. Their point total was a season high ... Houston coach Jeff Van Gundy continues to be vague about the status of offseason pickup Bonzi Wells, who's been inactive for the last 14 games. Van Gundy said Wells had a recent hamstring injury, but gave little more explanation why Wells hasn't been playing. ``The less I say, the more likely it is to come to a positive conclusion.''</div> http://www.nba.com/games/20061205/GSWHOU/recap.htmlToo bad TMac and Yao sat out the 4th Quarter.
