    Football is a sport. Football cannot go bankrupt (unless Tom Brady is near the ball). BUT.... the NFL can.

    Dumbest. Lawsuit. Ever. FAMS.

    Yeah, no. Not going to happen. Lawsuit will be thrown out. Even if the nfl did go bankrupt a new football league would start because it's Americas favorite sport

    The NFL's revenue is like 9 billion a year, the sport will have to be banned before the NFL dies. Also, the average NFL team is worth 1.43 Billion... it's crazy.

    I bet football as we know it wont be around in 25-50 years. When Mike Ditka says he wouldn't let his own kids play the game, you know you have real trouble.

    The NFL is more about deplorable wife beaters, idiots who shoot themselves on accident, controversy such as inflate gate, concussions, and life long brain damage than it is about sports.

    The threat of lawsuits due to brain injuries has a chance to put a huge financial hurt on the league.

    It's not a recent thing that life expectancy for a former player is about 50.

    On the other hand, this fact was known by the players all along. They bear some responsibility for choosing $millions over health.
