Still focusing in on Dwight King. He's perfect for us. He's cheap and signed. He's not a rental.

If they dealt Zucc I'd rather they would do Zucc, Glass and J. Moore for Dwight King and Stoll.

Money is close. Stoll is a UFA next year. Glass can play on their 4th line. Kings are painfully slow and it's finally caught up to them. Moore and Zucc would improve their speed a lot. I think they sign Zucc.

Stoll would solve our faceoff problem for one year. That deal to me is more attractive than the Toronto one. It's better for our cap going forward. People talk about the Leafs fire sale. The Kings are going to do something. They should bought out Richards when they had a chance. He stinks now. They could have easily won the last cup without him.

Dont know what to make of the Kings' struggles this year. Do they have a "SC Hangover", or are they simply not motivated in the regular season due to 2 SC's in 3yrs and are just riding it out to the playoffs where they'll turn it back on? are there real team deficiencies / issues? i watch them very little so have no idea.

They seem to do this in the regular season and then turn it up in the playoffs. I just don't think you can always hope to sneak into the 8th spot. Still a long way to go so we shall see.

To Mess' point, the Kings are never great in the regular season. Untill we are sitting here close to the trade DL and they are still outside looking in, I won't think they'll make big changes. Like Carter and Gabby before, I will lean towards them adding a player for the playoffs.

Kings are an annoying team. I hope they miss the playoffs

Kings record pretty much what it was this many games in 3 years ago when they won the Cup vs NJ. This is a veteran big team that grinds and is not great regular season but is a total nightmare in the playoffs.

Kings are not going to make the playoffs if they keep that team. I expect Colorado to have a big second half.

I most likely agree with you dump, but they will add a player or players like they always do before they go the other way. Unless we are sitting here real close to the trade DL and the Kings are clearly out of it, I will assume they'll look to add as usual.

Keeping Richards was so stupid by them. Unless a GM is drunk, I can't see anybody taking that contract. Last year Doughty played 25 minutes a game. This year he playing 29. A sign they are desperate and have no faith in their other defenseman. Losing Voynov absolutely hurt them. My guess is they will be looking to add a speed forward and a top 4 defenseman.

And Mitchell left to sign with Florida as well. They need a top 4 dman badly.

Agree. However, I think they would sign for a 5 or 6 and then move one of the other guys up.

I wouldn't write off the Kings yet. They are 1 pt out of the last WC right now and I expect them to have a solid 2nd half. Calgary is not better than LA despite their flaws. Its a vet team that knows it just needs to get in

Anyone who writes off the Kings isn't paying attention. I don't think any fan who knows anything would write them off..no way.

They suck compared to last year. A lot of their role players have declined. They also have 2 huge losses off their defenseman from last year.

I don't disagree, but I cannot write off the 2 of the past 3 seasons champs. Plus they have gone out and added a player at the trade DL in both of those seasons. They can certainly do it again.

They are f'king rearing their ugly head.......winning their 8th straight game.
Getting ready to defend their SC ways. Fuck them. I am amazed how
media people jump on this bandwagon. They win for 2 weeks and they
    become favorites. >>>>>shaking my head<<<<<

they become favorites because they have the history behind them, giving up on a team half way into a season is stupid
