:reading:BLAZERS' OFFICIAL GAME NOTES
• Monday marks the second and final matchup between the Trail Blazers and Nets in 2014-15.

• Portland was originally supposed to conclude its season series with the Nets on Jan. 26 before the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

• The Trail Blazers defeated the Nets, 97-87, at home on Nov. 15. In that game, Damian Lillard had 28 points (4-6 3-PT) and dished out 10 assists for his first double-double of the season. He shot 8-of-14 from the field and made four of his six three-point attempts.

• Portland held Brooklyn to 87 points, one of 12 times that the Trail Blazers have limited an opponent to less than 90 points in a game this season.

• LaMarcus Aldridge has scored 20+ points in each of the past six games against the Nets (no double-doubles during that time).

• LaMarcus Aldridge has shot 50.0% or better in four consecutive games against the Nets. During that time, Aldridge is shooting 39-of-66 from the field (59.0%).

• Brook Lopez has shot at least 50.0% from the field in all nine games he has played against Portland in his career. Lopez has scored 24.0 points over his past four games against the Trail Blazers.

• Last season, The Trail Blazers swept the season series from the Nets for the first time since 2009-10. Portland outscored Brooklyn by 54 points over two games in 2013-14.

• Portland’s 124-80 victory over the Nets last season on Feb. 26 was its largest margin of victory over any team in 2013-14. That margin also represents the biggest win Portland has had against the Nets in franchise history.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 57-22
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 34-6
AT THE NETS: Trail Blazers lead, 23-16

Rumors are that the Blazers vs Nets will be postponed also.

I wonder if the league will just let 4 teams play 81 games and look the other way. Considering both NYC games tonight are against western teams, it will be a lot harder to make up the games in the future.

Two years ago, the NBA canceled a Celtics/Pacers game due to weather and both teams ended up playing 81 games for the season. There is a precedent, but that game did not affect standings. With the west as close as it is, POR would probably be the only team impacted with games canceled tonight.

Fuck play the damn game! People can roll down the streets in sleds!

Come on, play this game, cancel the Cleveland one when we can't get out. Much better odds of victory.

Sports Blog New York on Twitter - "There are rumors that tonight's Blazers/Nets and Kings/Knicks games have been postponed due to the pending snowstorm tonight"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :ski::ski::ski:

So a solitary 1 game trip just to play BK?

We have a 5 games in 7 nights trip in March but there is no space to tag on this game in that period. Plus BK has to be in town then too.

TBH, I'd rather play them and get the win rather than play 81.

I also would rather play BKN to get the win tonight and then if needed cancel CLE. Apparently decision is already made though.

I'll bet they will make this game up during the All Star break. Shorten each teams All Star break by one day. Feb 19th?
Feb 19th @ Brooklyn ????
Feb 20th @ Utah

I wonder if they can get out of New York.
