    Basically, if some religious figurehead says help the indigent and also says slit the neck of disbelievers, people need to look at both statements and give honest assessments to both. And not just kill fuckers because they were told to do so.

    13M people have been displaced in Iraq alone due to ISIS. Not an indication they welcome the Islamic state. I suspect the number would be higher if ISIS had taken more territory by now. But still, that figure approaches one half of the population of Iraq.
