... If you believe any of that, you're an idiot. AGAIN, WHY DO YOU KEEP READING SI? THAT'S THE WORST MAGAZINE IN SPORTS!!!
Pau Gasol should definitely not be on the list. He is the backbone of the team, and although he is injured now, he will make a huge splash back when he returns to the team.Mike James should be added. There are rumors about him going to Detroit, like he did in 2004.

You could put him at the four spot, right next to Ben Wallace, and make this defense even more dangerous. Having him as the main one on one defender, and Ben as the rotating down low guy that goes for blocks and to alter shots, would be awesome for this team. Furthermore, Jermaine O'neal would provide the Bulls with some form of scoring from down low, something they desperately need that will let the perimeter players not have to shoulder the entire scoring load.Another that I see that I think would be a nice pick up, is the Nets trying to go for Haywood. I think he would be a nice defensive presence down low for them when he is in the game.
Kevin Garnett, Pau Gasol, Earl Watson, Allen Iverson and Paul Pierce are going nowhere. I hate mid-season rumors, they never pan out and it's just stupid.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Seattle Times: Two team sources said Tuesday the Sonics have roughly 3 ? weeks to prove to management and new owner Clay Bennett that they are a legitimate playoff contender or the brass will seriously consider wholesale changes that may include a coaching change as well as a series of trades, perhaps involving forward Rashard Lewis."Maybe they will look in a different direction," Lewis said after leading Seattle to a 102-87 victory over Atlanta at KeyArena. "It really could happen at any time. We've been kind of up and down, but I feel like we're still right there. We're playing close to .500 basketball, but you never know what they are thinking."They can tell you one thing ? to don't worry about nothing ? and tomorrow you hear about somebody being traded. I've seen it over and over. Nobody is safe. Myself, I'm not safe. So I just try to keep it as business as possible."A team source said Bennett was upset with Hill at how the coach handled a public feud with reserves Damien Wilkins and Watson two weeks ago, and Lewis is trade bait because the one-time all-star small forward has the option to void the final two years of his contract after the season and become an unrestricted free agent.</div>LinkRashard Lewis would be a good fit with the Lakers.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Something-To-Say @ Dec 6 2006, 03:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>... The Sonics have no need for project big men (Lakers' strongest trading piece) seeing how their roster is already full of them (Wilcox, Collison, Swift, Sene, Petro). The best deal I could imagine between the 2 would be Odom and filler/picks for Lewis & Ridnour but I don't see why either team would do it. :thumbdn1:
I think Seatle needs to trade both Ray Allen and Rashad Lewis..Why? because they need to start over with two new big names leading there team. Ray Allen is a good player but he's no leader. He needs to go somewhere like phenox or Cleveland where he could still shoot the ball the same but not be the main focus. If Ray were to get traded theres no way Rashad could be a leader either there for he should be involved in a trade package. I say send him to the lakers for Lamar or send him to Atlanta. I think Joe Johnson and Rashard Lewis would be a great combination. Josh Smith and Josh Childress in seatle wouldn't be a bad idea at all imh and where are the Laker trade talks?
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have gasol or Iverson, but it's doubtful that it'll happen. Iverson is more likely than Gasol, tho.Surprised to see that Paul Pierce isn't on that list..

Seattle won't get enough in return for Ray Allen to make a trade worthwhile. Ray Allen is the only thing keeping Seattle in games, losing him would tank the entire season...not a smart move...Cleveland has too much money invested in guys that Seattle won't want in return. When your making trade suggestions you don't look at things realistically. Although Seattle wouldn't mind Childress or Smith...Rashard Lewis wouldn't make much sense for the Hawks because Lewis is a FA and thats too much for Atlanta to lose.
Ugh...It's Rashard Lewis, not RashadOh I'm sorry am I going to get a F on my paper? Oh wait this isn't school. So I make a mistake now and then with spelling who cares it's a sports fourm and you knew who I was talking about. I don't see anything wrong with a Larry Hughes and somebody else as well as a draft pick for Ray Allen trade. Oh and I'm sure Atlanta has the money to resign Lewis after the season or they could have him play that season out and do a sign and trade with another team. It's been done many times before you know
No, Seattle wouldn't be able to trade Ray for anything near equal value if they tried and Shard is a keeper.

The Sonics trading Ray Allen for Larry Hughes and another players makes absolutely no sense at all in the first place. The Hawks are building around their young players...trading Childress who has at times been their best player besides Johnson and Smith who is as talented a player as their is in the NBA...for Rashard Lewis makes little to no sense as well...Yes I know their could be a sign and trade buy why bother? The Hawks won't win anything with Lewis this season...and he doesn't fit in well with the group they have minus Childress/Smith.
