By years end I think there win total will be very close but I'd have to give the edge to the Cubs. I hope I'm wrong.

What will those nasty Bosox do this year? Hopefully continue their flight into oblivion, obscurity.!!

Who will Win the NL West? I like this Divisions 3 ring circus for the pennant. Bums, Giants, Padres. Diego is trying to buy a PS. The Bums have deep talented farm club of kids, and a good bead/line on Cuban, Korean & Latin Talent.

Just like Valenezuela's Mexican connection. Nomo's Oriental one, as well as Kuroda, Park, and Ho...

the Yanks tho' have done more for Occidental Relations IMO, much moreso than any other Teams. Forget Dice-K. Tho' the influx of Asian Talent is beginning to appear on several Teams now, and will continue to trend UP.

Much like the good old' Caribbean, Pan-Am connection of the Epic Roberto Clemente, began as important as Jackie Robinson IMO. I say as much, because MLB has more Latin players now than Blacks. Of course many Latin Players being darker skin, can constitute black. BUT LATINS SPEAK SPANISH NOT JIVE.....!!! There was a time one could easily say, #42 did more for Blacks entering the league, but what about Larry Doby too?

Tho' I find the NL West, Central, and East as great Pennant races. I will forever remain more interested always on the AL East, regardless of how screwy some of these teams deals become.

AL West should be no contention for the Halos. The Al Central hopefully wont come down to the Tiggers, rather the Royals, I hope succeed again. This division is almost broken.

I love my Giants (Sorry Tom) but I see either the Nats or the Bums coming out of the NL. As far as the AL....its a toss up.

But again as far the OP, Cubs 84-78 & the Yankees 82-80

No problem Rick....Yankee fandom will be tough the next few years. White Sox should be the team from the AL to watch.

I picked the Cubs as well. Could be an all Chicago series by 2016.
