I forget where, Chicago really likes Zucc. I have no doubt they could dump Glass on them in a deal as follows Zucc Glass for Bickel Kruger Kruger is an excellent faceoff guy who is a RFA next year. Bickel carries a 4 million cap hit. Chicago is loaded with young centers. Getting Zucc would allow them to dump Versteeg in the last year of his deal which shouldn't be hard for them. Chicago would sign Zucc. I see no reason he won't sign there. That makes our team Kreider-Stepan-MSL Bickel-Brassard-Nash Hagelin-Kruger-Miller Hayes-Moore-Fast That's a bigger, better faceoff team. I would do that. Chicago has been looking to dump Bickel for cap purposes for a while.
Like I said. Islanders play every game vs. the Rangers like it's game 7 of the finals. Then for at least 5 games after they have their head up their ass like they are on vacation.
I like that deal a lot more if they include Saad instead of Bickel. I will drive zucc myself to the airport.
Why would the Hawks make a deal like this? Glass is a negative to the deal, AND Bickel is pretty much as good as Zucc, with his size you could say better. And let's also ask them to give up RFA controlled Kruger as well. We all want to improve, but I don't see the Hawks making a deal like this. I know you will flip out dump, but there is a reason you put Glass in EVERY SINGLE TRADE you come up with in here...he is terrible. Teams aren't stupid, they know that as well. Glass is a negative to any deal he is in...not a positive for the team taking on his 3 year contract. Again, we can deal him, but I don't think he would be viewed as a positive for the other team. It would be a situation where they would say okay we'll take him off your hands, but give us X extra to do it. For us I rather have Bickel than Zucc right now.
If you think Bickel is as good as Zucc. Stop watching hockey. You're not learning anything. For somebody who doesn't think this team sucks, you sure think all our players are total crap when it comes to trade value. Amazing how the Hawks have been trying to dump Bickel all year considering he's as good as Zucc.
I don't think there is any shot the Hawks make that trade..zero for UFA Zucc who has had 1 good year in the NHL. I like Zucc a lot, but that is the truth. The Hawks have depth and have cap issues, that is why they are looking at options.

That said, I think he is a decent 3rd line winger, just not for that cap hit. Another classic example of small sample size playoff run leading to a bad contract" Yet, you think he's better than Zucc. Most Hawks fans think the guy is useless unless it's playoff time.
For our team, I think he would be a better fit. That is my point. We could use his size. I don't think the Hawks would do that anyway. I like Zucc, but again the guy has had 1 good year that is all.
