Whomever runs the Twitter account now really leaves something to be desired too. I never got Dave either.
I think we called that in here (or maybe it was on FB). That wasn't great. The Gronk-coulda (but probably shouldn'ta) PI was borderline. The trip on Lockette was ridiculous. All in all I can't complain a ton. Couple misses either way, and though you can say they impacted the game, it wasn't anything that doesn't happen all the time.
I have heard that if it is a glancing shot (even on the plant leg), it's appropriate to call running into and not roughing. Mike Pereira has confirmed this. Overall, pretty well officiated game.
Yeah, I thought it was one of the better officiated games I've seen in quite some time, really. That being said, this is Pereira's tweet: Just went back on my non-Tivo TV. It should have been roughing. There was contact on the knee. It was enough.
http://www.baconsports.com/seahawks-fan-reaction-just-like-hogan-at-bash-at-the-beach/ This is the best one yet. The cockiness of the likely relatively new seahawks "fans" with their manufactured chants and bullshit.
Hey, if all these Seattle fans weren't so cocky as fuck (along with the players on the team itself), it probably wouldn't have been as sweet. But the fact that they were and it went down like that makes it hilarious.
And who chants at a game watching party? I mean, does any blazer fan at a house party break out in a "Lets Go Blazers" chant at home when other people are over? I'd figure you get your ass kicked 'round these parts for pulling that.
Ugg, im half reliving the 49ers loss in the SB 2 years ago, I was crushed for like 6 months, and truthfully still a little sore about it.
I get it. I'm thinking of the Rose Bowl this year, with all the Florida State players talking about how Oregon couldnt hang with them, were too big, too strong.. then to get boat raced like that.. you cant help but smirk when someone talks all that mess, and then falls flat on their face.
I don't even follow football. :MARIS61: Superbowl is probably the only game I caught all year. And even then only watched starting at the 2nd quarter. no one watches football in LA really. its probably like Seattle before the Seahawks were good.
