No denying that, nor can anyone deny that Dunleavy's injury has forced Jimmy Butler to play virtually all his minutes at SF the last 5 games. Though some have long claimed that SF is Butler's natural position, his shooting/scoring have plummeted in Dunleavy's absence: First 31 games - 21.9ppg on 48% shooting Last 5 games - 14.8ppg on 33% shooting
He's only playing SF on defense, and only when th SF is the stronger of SF and SG. If he's running around screens looking for curl quick release jumpers, or standing outside the 3pt line, he's playing SG on O. That's Dunleavy's role.
He's missed over a month with a "sprained ankle." Noah sprains both of his and returns the next game. Something fishy going on here.
