So, how come the Buffalo Sabres have Montreal's number? Florida is nobody's pushover. Nashville is unbeatable at home......almost.
Big game against Boston tomorrow night. The Rangers can get themselves within a point of the Islanders with a game in hand.
The Kings are done right now. They are only 4 games over .500 Now is the perfect time to get King from them King for Lindberg Stempniak 2nd St. Louis-Stepan-Nash King-Brassard-Zucc Kreider-Hayes-Hagelin Miller-Moore-Fast Some size on every line
Cannot bring on a guy like king til you get rid of glass. and that is A LOT to give up for a guy like king. not for nothing the kings are not down and out, although it appears that way they still have pleny of points to get with roughly 30 games left. secondly, lindberg is a RFA and i like him I believe he can make this team.
and not for nothing kreider time, you're talking about overpaying for king big time and including lindberg who is in your "all swede" line when discussing bringing on martin hanzel
I think it's still too much time before teams think they're out of it. Nothing wrong with GMS talking though and setting up for the trade deadline.
Nashville's back-up goaler,Carter Hutton, made one of the most unbelievable athletic moves to save the game against Toronto. Probably the best save I have ever seen. .......wow, Toronto has really fallen off this side of the earth in getting back to playoff hockey.
Rangers look outclassed even when out shooting their opponent. Lapses by inept players.......proves Rangers have no depth.
I don't think it is outclassed, I think it is lack of depth. Our 4th line is a huge negative. Our 3rd line is like a 4th line. That's why we struggle against Boston and the Isles and TB...all teams with depth. I think that is more important than size for us. Must add a forward, especially because AV refuses to play Miller because of his mental mistakes, but -14 Glass never even a thought to scratch (-11 worse than any other player on the team).
BTW...1st goal is on AV also. We have the last change, but for some reason AV decided let me play my 4th line against their 1st line even with an O zone faceoff for us. Just dumb.
Size is the issue when they play teams like this. Boston starts hitting them, wear them down and they don't answer back.
I think size is a need, but to me I think it still comes down to depth. You are not going through 4 rounds of playoffs with only your top 6 scoring, and that is what we are right now. That is the concern.
Next up for Rangers is game at Country Music Capital, Nashville. Preds are 20- 2- 1 at home. Last time they lost in regulation was sometime back in December against the Blackhawks. Pens were the other team to beat the Predators in regulation. Everything must click for Rangers to win Saturday afternoon. Ducks gave them their 3rd reg loss at home, Thursday............ they'll be hungry Sat....for sure.
we are not talking about the Thunderdome...its freakin Nashville...we will win with Prince Talbot in goal
What I noticed last night...Mar 17 Tuesday 2015. a. Andrew "Hamburglar" Hammond is one hot goalie. 12 consecutive games not giving up more than 2 goals per game. Ottawa leapfrogs Florida and is a threat to Boston. Beats Canes in SO 2-1. b. Buffalo beats Boston in SO at Boston. You think Boston will need that extra point? c. Blues shut out Flames who are in a fight with the once 'done' Kings. d. Isles pancake in Chicago. Lose 4-1. e. Devils shut out Pens 2-0. Schneider excels in goal. f. Jets and Wild win must games. Sharks fading...in loss to Jets.
Rangers lose.......... their scoring has disappeared. Chicago played classic 'away' game. Score one goal and check, check, check. Ducks beat Kings in OT. Kings getting their points. It's that time of year for them.....get into the playoffs and win, win, win. Watch out for this sleeping giant.
