Lost 5 in a row and scratched Kane last night. Hmmmmmmm don't see them as sellers just yet but if the trend continues I'm sure they'll want a shake-up, and you have to assume Kane would be the first to go. Been rumored to be on his way out for years. There's your size, toughness, skating and finishing in one (somewhat egotistical) package.

    *cue 71's obligatory Ladd post

I wonder if Miller/Hagelin/Skjei/2016 1st could pry Kane.

I'd Pass on Kane, we need to improve the bottom 6, the top 6 is fine

Kane sucks. He's the most overrated player in hockey and he's overpaid. I wouldn't offer crap for him. Ladd on the other hand is tremendous. Rangers aren't a match. Jets are desperate to make the playoffs. Those fans are loyal. Kane is the guy they will move but they need to be realistic. He's sucked for a while. I'll give you a perfect deal for them. Subban and Marchand for Kane. Money is close. Boston loves guys like that. Jets get their goalie for the next decade and a player than is a good player when he's not being a dirty weasle. Why I think Kane sucks, Boston won't. They like any big player with some skill.

Blake wheeler or bryan little would be a perfect fit here stabalizing our need for a right handed sniper. wheeler has some sick hands and little's accuracy is off the charts. BOTH of them can let it rip

and that package for kane is ridiculous. Kane is never going to surpass 30 goals again because he cannot stay healthy. the guys washed

and dump do you mean svedberg not subban?

Not for nothing but michael hutchinson is doing really well for a team thats reeling right now in winnipeg. I"m not sure svedberg would be the right call unless you're doing it to create a solid goaltending tandem of good young goalies. just remember pavelec is signed for another two seasons.

No, Subban. Boston drafted PK's brother. Kid is going to be a stud NHL goalie. He's blocked by Rask. Unless they trade Rask, no reason to keep Subban. I'd trade Rask if I was them. He makes a ton. If you have a guy that will be dirt cheap for a while and can be an elite goalie, keep him.

Nevermind, reported that he is with team doctors today, that's why he's not at practice. What a train wreck here for WPG....

From Yahoo: Evander Kane has been dealing with an undisclosed injury and there's a chance that he could elect to have surgery. It's believed that he could wait until the off-season to have it repaired, but if he's discontent then Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press believes Kane could push for the procedure. Coach Paul Maurice scratched Kane after he violated the team's dress code on Tuesday. Winnipeg is likely to have plenty of other teams calling about Kane leading into the trade deadline.

As talented as he is, he's been nothing but a headache out in WPG. Probably not the greatest guy to bring into a close room like the Rangers have.

Johnston of Sportsnet: Jets Evander Kane was in a track suite because he thought the team meeting was at the team hotel and not at the arena. When he realized the meeting was at the Arena he didn’t had time to go back at his place in Vancouver to change. Multiple sources saying Jets Evander Kane was then not on their team bus and missed their pre-game meeting. When he was finally reached by phone an hour before the game, he said he wasn’t playing. He had a run-in with teammates that morning after violating the dress code. After a workout and stretch, Dustin Byfuglien threw the track suit into the shower to send a message. That was the last they saw of Kane until their flight home. The organization is being tight lipped. He also has some sort of injury that is being evaluated, one in which could require season-ending surgery.

    hahahah gotta love BIG BUFF

What did they say about LADD..i can just feel he and Yandle will end up here and transform the team and inept dmen who cant keep up and flip our goalies mask off. Chuck and Prod definately side with me on this.

I agree on the D part. The fact that we are only 4th in goals against per game shows the weakness we have there. If we were 2nd or 3rd that would be different, but 4th is not good enough...we need D.
