Sean Deveny of TSN suggests Taj has been on the trade block a while. http://www.sportingnews.com/nba/sto...-lakers-brook-lopez-lance-stephenson/slide/12 For Dragic or Aflallo? Or Stephenson? Or salary dump to avoid the Tax if Jimmy re-signs? You might say that you'd rather have Taj playing big minutes in the playoffs than any of those guys. I'd rather have Mirotic and one of those guys with Dunleavy off the bench than Taj and Hinrich with Dunleavy starting.
I have felt that ever since we got both Gasol and Mirotic. We need another wing, a good one! Injuries to MDJ and Doug has slowed the progress of this team. Add to the problem the decline of Hinrich, and Mirotic playing out of position! I hope it is true.
By Ralphb07 ยป Yesterday 9:15 pm The Bulls turned down KCP n filler for Gibson months ago. They were talking to LA but that deal was landing them Jeff Green n a LA big. No longer an option now. The Suns were offering something like Green and Marcus Morris. I'm not sure about Portland and Toronto, but if it was Ross with Toronto, that trade would've been done already From realgm: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1371104&start=60#start_here post #81
They can lose with him or lose without him. If they want a better chance to win, they may have to roll the dice. And we love Cowley, eh?
LOL no. He rocks the boat with a lot of his tweets and does it on purpose to stir discussion. He would do very well in a message board setting. What you said, lose with, lose without....my point as well. `
Gotta give Cowley credit. He was Guillen's anti-management mouthpiece and when Guillen gets jettisoned, he quickly becomes Thibodeau's anti-management mouthpiece. Guy's got a gift.
Cowley is no less reliable than the sad sack beat writers who just cowtow to the organization and repeat what is said in press conferences. During the Guillen times, he was reporting what was on the mind of the Guillens. It just wasn't going through the org press filter so it rankled some people. I'll take more Joe Cowleys out there writing.
