Honestly, if we are bringing someone in then, the last position we need is PF.

I'm getting tired of the word chemistry. Amare is 32, plays 25 minutes on an absolute shit team off the bench... I'm sure that he knows he isn't a star anymore... It isn't 2008.

He is more of a center now. He has slowed down quite a bit but he is insanely efficient. I'd like him over Kaman.

He has been out lately but I think he is taking his sweet time to come back because he still plays for the Knicks lol with reduced minutes (say 18ish minutes a night) he would be well preserved here.

If we have Kaman involved going out in this deal or another deal maybe.

But pure scoring (which is actually what we need most off the bench) it is Kaman for us rather than Amare.

Kaman is a better shooter/floor spacer but Amare is a better interior player which in the playoffs I'd prefer.

The shooting %s for the two are this btw:

    At rim - Amare .690 / Kaman .645
    3-10 - Amare .436 / Kaman .355
    10-16 - Amare .333 / Kaman .408
    16+ - Amare .321 / Kaman .442

I think Amare would play better next to guys like Aldridge/Leonard/Freeland than Kaman.

I am just going to say that I still think he is very low on the list of needs compared to other positions.

Wait till the last 2 or 3 days up to the trade deadline and there should be a poll added to this thread. It's a little to early to make one now though.

You never wait until 2 or 3 days until the trade deadline, so....

Amare cannot be insured..the Knicks were the only club to take that risk, not sure we would or even want him. No defense in that guy's universe whatsoever. I'd rather have Mo back than give somebody up for him....to me it's a "break the needle" move

If we are going to make a move Afflalo is the one that makes the most sense.

Afflalo could easily opt-in for the last year of his deal since I don't see many teams paying him more than the MLE for his current production. If somehow he comes to PDX and just turns his season around and earns a big paycheck, then it's also good problem to have for the price of a late 1st rounder.

Looking at his numbers I don't think he's worth giving up a lot for.

    Afflalo is a 12 PER with a 20 USG%

I'd much rather try to pry away Thomas from PHX, who is on the block.

This team is missing a legit go-to guy off the bench.

Chemistry is going to be fucked anyway if they keep losing every game.

Thomas is basically Mo though. We need someone bigger that can give Batum more time on the bench.

I'm tired of hearing the word chemistry. If we had such great chemistry, we wouldn't have choked that game away tonight. If moving two-three bench players disrupts "chemistry", then I guess it wasn't that great to begin with.

Trade deadline is 10-days away. Blazers only play once more before the trade deadline.

Who (if anyone) has played their last game as a Blazer?
