I've wanted Byfuglien since the Hawks let him go and think Glen could make a deal with the young talent we have. Don't know how good a trade it is for Winnipeg if they're unable to resign Stafford/Myers but dumping Kane and his oddball antics has to help team chemistry.

Not sure I can fault the Rangers medical staff here though. This is an extremely unusual injury for an athlete, certainly not one that the medical staff would be looking for. Had a lengthy conversation with my wife (who is a doctor) about it, and she said that the "trigger" for them to look for this was likely the continued headaches that Hank reported after the Florida came, so not sure I would have expected them to catch this before then.

Anyway, them "missing" it really had no bad repercussions, it wouldn't change the situation at all if they had caught this a day or two earlier. Only downside was the risk to him while playing that next game....

It's possible he misses the regular season and playoffs. This has to heal correctly before he can play. Hank is not going to risk his life to play hockey, and I don't blame him

The point was that Hank did play that next game. True, if I were
