Dallas Stars forward Antoine Roussel has been suspended two games for crosschecking Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid in the throat during Tuesday's game at TD Garden, the NHL announced Thursday. Roussel will forfeit $21,505.38 in salary to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund. During the first period of Dallas' 5-3 win over the Bruins, Roussel's crosscheck dropped McQuaid to the ice. Roussel was given a game misconduct and ejected from the game. McQuaid missed a shift but remained in the contest.
