First of all, I find it funny to read people saying Iverson is a baby or whatever because he doesn't want to play for a certain team, etc., when every superstar to be traded in the past five years has done the same, and nobody ripped them.If he was content with playing for a mediocre team he would have never asked for a trade out of Philadelphia... the entire reason he wants out of Philadelphia is to be put in a better situation. In my opinion, Charlotte is NOT a better situation for him, and it doesn't make sense for the Bobcats to bring him in anyway, which is why I believe it when Bickerstaff said they were never close to acquiring Iverson.Secondly, I don't think AI in GS will work... and like CB32 said the trade would just create more chaos because we would have to find a suitor for Baron Davis either right now or at the end of the season.Supposedly King has two deals on the table that he can do right away, but is waiting a little longer to see what else he can get...This whole thing is just getting so out of hand... I'm just waiting for the day I wake up and check RealGM and finally find out what the hell is actually going to happen.

The 'Baby Bulls' arn't the same Bulls. Chandler and Curry were etched in stone as the anchors of that team. Kaman, Maggette, Cassel and Brand make the Clippers good, you remember who else they had back then? Mikki Moore, James Singleton, etc. Everyone else is gone since when the Clippers were considered a good team of the future. The Heat were supposed to be contendors when they had Lamar and all those guys. Titles seem to follow one of the most dominate players of all time (Shaq). Knicks are going to have problems for years if they keep this sh*t up. That's why Charlotte isn't very attractive right now. Sure, they could be good in a few years, but alot can happen in a few years. Teams that could give him the above mentioned are the teams in the hunt; Boston and Golden State.</span></span>

Agreed. This dude is going to ERUPT once he is traded... AI is scary enough, but a PISSED OFF AI is literally impossible to stop.

OK, and this couldn't have been in the Iverson thread with over 20 pages? I'm merging it. This doesn't need its own thread.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KWebb5 @ Dec 13 2006, 10:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Teams that could give him the above mentioned are the teams in the hunt; Boston and Golden State.</div>Boston is as good as gone from the Allen Iverson sweepstakes. Golden State is hanging on by a hair... maybe. The teams at the top of the hunt right now are Denver and Minnesota.Billy King and company have left the office for the day, but they'll start early tomorrow morning at around 8:00 am.

Like I said from the beginning, he is not going to either Boston without Pierce leaving. So much for speculation.

Earlier Stephen A smith said Miami was a darkhorse, it's unlikely the heat would get him but usually when Stephen A says something it's pretty credible so I'm just throwing that out there.

On WEEI today he said that he hasn't talked to Billy King in the last 48 hours, he would be surprised if they traded AI to an Eastern Conference team, he knows he low-balled him, and that our chances of getting Iverson are "very slim."Also guys, Billy King and Ed Snider are going to have a meeting with Larry Brown to help them decide on some things. Yup.. I said it: Larry Brown.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Dmoney @ Dec 13 2006, 10:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Earlier Stephen A smith said Miami was a darkhorse, it's unlikely the heat would get him but usually when Stephen A says something it's pretty credible so I'm just throwing that out there.</div>Don't believe any rumors you hear from ESPN.
