#1 - Can Alex Rodriquez still hit?

#2 - Can Masahiro Tanaka stay healthy?

#3 - Cann CC Sabathia be counted on?

#4 - Which veterans will show up? (Teixeira, Beltran, McCann, Ellsbury etc)

#5 - Is Dellin Betances ready to be the closer

I'll eat my hat if neither Betances or Miller (if both healthy) won't be able to do a good job as a closer.
CC - he's healthier than he's been in years...and is NOT coming off reconstruction arm surgery or anything and I happen to think his competiveness ALONG with command of three pitches which he's ALWAYS had will help him be a very creditable #3?-4 SP.
This man is no slouch, he is a tough proud pitcher.....may no longer be an ace,but he'll contribute - IMO.

Here's where I've kinda been holding my cards close to my chest.....If...If...Arod's body hold up- he'll hit at least enough to justify using him in some sort of DH rotation/ platoon. I know all about his sh!thead escapades but when he's in uniform and playing, his hard work and hustle has never been doubted.
And last but not least, if Tanaka's elbow remains sound enough thru the season, the Yanks win THIS division. Imho

We'll see how it shakes out.

I believe March 3rd is the 1st ST game vs. the Phillies. It can't happen soon enough.

1-Of course not, he will look worse than ever in his career, he may hit as high as .220, tho' I expect more like .190

2- Sure why not? The 1st 015 MLB 20 game winner IMO.

    3- Not no, Hell NO...!

4- McCann & Jacoby....Tex will milk a hangnail half the year, then milk an ingrown toenail the other half.

5- Of course he is, more than ready, the Q is, is the AL ready for Dellin?

I hear ya....but "we've" already covered that, and aren't expecting ace-like material from him. I'm sort of expecting and considering CC to be some kind of new addition the Yanks will have added to their SP rotation.....maybe somewhere(?) in between Kuroda and McCarthy.
IMHO - don't count out this tough proud solid pro until the jury returns with the verdict. lol.
And keep an eye on kid pitcher Severino, he is on the very fast track towards making his way on the Yanks' SP rotation sooner than later.

we may be lucky to see any resemblance of Sabathia, with a record of more wins than losses. Honestly I doubt CC will ever be an effective pitcher.

Some Pitchers have been able to re-invent themselves after surgery, or losing their fastballs or sliders from hell. While CC's fastball, and hanging curve-ball seem to be only a couple mph difference.

I don't see CC being one of those pitchers either, who would be able to re-invent himself, not at all. IMO, CC is as good as done. Tho' I'd love to be proven wrong, yet I doubt we will ever see CC as a reliable starter. I see no difference b/t CC and Bartolo Colon.....!!! and NO, I'm not running for cover either...!
