I fucking hate Westbrick. (True story: I was typing 'Westbrook' but my phone auto filled 'Westbrick'. It just did it again.)

They should just change the name from 'MVP' to 'Most Selfish Player'. if the West had lost it would have been all on Westbrick and his relentless ball hogging.

I would have given MVP to Harden.

And WTF is Chris Paul's deal with Dame? Paul flat froze Dame out all game long.

He passed it to him a few times in the first half only to see Dame make another pass and since CP3 only cared about getting assists seemed like he made a mental note of "pass to lillard and I won't get an assist"

Also the LMA screw up inbounds was the funniest part of all star weekend.

What a joke this game was. I turned it on for 30 seconds and felt so nauseous I had to change channels. Everybody was loafing up and down the court like they were going through the motions, players were throwing up crazy shots, and absolutely no one was playing defense.

Haven't watched this circus for years, and last night reminded me why.

Just another day at the office for Harden...29Points/8Rebounds/8Assists (27.4/5.7/6.8). I know it's only an All Star Game...but he pretty much has posted this stat line all season. He is the most unselfish ELITE player in the game today.

Using the all star game as reference to a player's NBA ability is like using Chuckie Cheese basketball shoot out to prove you are a great shooter. Yes, you get a lot of tickets, but no NBA scout will give you a lava lamp for your achievement.

What was really amazing is that he didn't once flop or attempt to flop.

Harden is actually in the top 20 in defensive rating this season and his defensive win shares are second in the league behind Golden State’s Draymond Green. His biggest fault last year was attacking the basket looking to get the foul called. This season he is attacking the basket looking to score.

I will give you that, regarding his defense. But that type of defense usually doesn't work in the playoffs. Trap and pressure are great regular season achievements, but the better defense is when you can stop teams on a half court system. That's when you are a solid playoff defensive team.

When Houston's 3 ain't dropping, the team struggles greatly. Can the Rockets, especially harden, still win games when your shooters aren't making their perimeter shots? I'm not quite sure...

Westbrook 'dominating' and getting the MVP is exactly why OKC is going nowhere.
