The team that could probaly give philly the best deal are the celtics, but like CB32 been saying there basically out of it now.

That wouldn't be terrible, 2 expirings and 2 first rounders. Better chance at getting a top 3 pick!

Dorrell Wright? What about the Golden State rumor with Baron Davis and Andris Biedrins?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MVPBaller @ Dec 14 2006, 05:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Will Sacramento get AI?</div>They havn't been in the conversation lately. That deal was very close to happening, but it died.In my mind, I still believe that if nothing happens with any other team for a couple more days, Danny Ainge could very well "go in for the kill" if he wanted. His last offer was Theo Ratliff, Tony Allen, Philly's choice of either Delonte West or Sebastian Telfair, and a 1st round pick. If Ainge switches Ryan Gomes with Tony Allen, I think Philly might bite at that. I reall do.But who knows. I think tomorrow, when signed free agents from the summer can be traded, things will start to heat up for other teams (Minnesota can offer Mike James, Denver is trying to trade Nene, etc.). Only time will tell, but Boston does have the best chance at doing a straight up deal with just Philly. It's on Ainge to play his cards right though, we'll see. I still doubt it though.

They are trying to unload Magloire themselves, plus they already have Randolph, Przybilla, a good young PF with a lot of potential in Aldridge, and Raef LaFrentz' TERRIBLE contract which doesn't expire until 2009.I wouldn't worry about this one, Tony. No way Portland takes on Nene's contract.
What would we do without CB32, he's like our source guys always knowing whats going on, maybe thats why he's BBW MVP
When the Heat team was first compiled with Antoine Walker, Gary Payton, D-Wade, and Shaq, everyone thought it wouldn't work because its a team full of players used to being the number one scoring options. Throwing AI in... it may work... may not 50/50 prolly

I'm guessing that's where CB32 is getting his information. Luckily he's not as lazy as I am when it comes to posting it.
They have to get this done sooner rather than later because with them not playing Iverson at all, his value might start dropping if they wait for a month without him even playing. If I'm philly I would trade him by the weekend.
I don't understand why people think AI will demand the ball wherever he goes. I mean if that was all Iverson cared about, I think he would be happy in Philly still. The reason AI is leaving is because he wants to win a ring before he retires and I think he will give up a lot for that. If AI were to go to Miami, I guarantee he would take a smaller role.
The reason why people are saying AI is selfish and is ballhog because look at the past Philly players many are underahievers and unreliable 2nd options. He had to take those 20 shots a game to keep mhis team in the game we just don't know if he wouold be a ballhog on MInny or w/e team because we have only seen him in a Philly jersey
I know we only have saw him in a Philly uniform, but when he played for team U.S.A. he was a very unselfish player, he was probaly the best player we had over there in 04 even though players just as wade, lebron, melo were over there, A-I was no doubtly the leader of team U.S.A

They would probaly have to give up some big contracts, I don't know how they could fit AI under the cap.

But he will be thinking that he will be getting the ball since he is a big play maker.
It's actually not so much that he "demands" the ball, but that he needs the ball in his hands to be effective. He's not a catch-and-shoot player. Because of that requirement, he forces potential teams to change their offense.

George Karl doesn't want any ball stoppers, he wants movement at all times. I'm not taking anything away from AI, but his game doesn't really suit Denver's offense. Karl already has publicly said that he doesn't want any change. However, I do think that if he goes there (which is a great possibility guys. If he's a Nugget at the end of today, don't be surprised), then they would find a way to make it work.

No way in hell I'd pull the trigger on that either way. If we are going to rebuild, we need to start it NOW. And not by trading our guy away for a couple mediocre big men.
