I saw the red carpet, and the "First Five Years of SNL"; which was on earlier in the week, and I thought it was pretty much as good, almost better than last nights great show. Not saying last nights 40th anniversary show wasn't special.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, but had to say G'Night and G'Day, and let the DVR watch and record the last half of it...

Damn I remember those first 7 years especially, before I had my own family, and always I MEAN ALWAYS, come Hell or High Water, did not miss one show. Didn't miss many of those SNL's during the 80s and 90's either; but did not wait faithfully for the late night Iconic shows to come on. As I got older, and ***my 3 Sons, grew, my time grew limited; on late night escapades. VCR's became mandatory.***(signed Fred McMurray)
