    ...by no means do I excuse or condone what Chuck has done but in my own way I have to agree with him...the "Andy Pettitte Day" for him at the stadium in August is little more than a publicity/marketing stunt designed to put more people in the stands...Andy tarnished his image by his actions...not only did he USE PEDs but he also left the Yanx for more money and then decided to come back to the Yanx...IMO, the Yanx are being hypocritical.
    ...I can see them giving Bernie/Jorge a plaque but retiring their jersey #s?...sorry, can't go along with that...as far as Pettitte, no to either honor.

    Back in late '03 and well into '04 I was having some bad times, did not have a computer to keep up with the news. I found out about Pettitte leaving from a fellow vet and was shocked never knew why he left to go to Houston with his bunk buddy Clemens. Was not happy with the arrival of A-hole either. After re-acquiring a computer in '05 I remember many on the old ESPN Boards sing the praises of A-hole calling for him to be at short over Jeter. Time proved that Mr. Yankee was Jeter.
