The team defense is becoming a problem now. There were times when our so called top defensive pair used to shut down the best players on other teams. Not anymore.

Rangers have been too passive this game. Chances to hit Canucks players with the puck but instead skate past them and poke at them with their sticks. They were aggressive in the first period but passed too much on good shooting chances. Then after Vancouver tied it up, they became super aggressive again. Got the lead, stay aggressive for a little while and then went passive again.

He's a mediocre backup at this point. I'm looking forward to see what this 20 year old can do.

He has very poor positioning, poor puck awareness, very poor glove hand, above average puck handling.

Rebounds...LOL. What Cam is all about. Another game with 3 or more goals allowed and a sub .900 sv%.

Lucky to get into OT here despite having 3 one goal leads.

I think we split up Girardi and McD and put one with Staal and the other with Klein and just see how it goes for a few games. I'd be for moving down McD because as captain he really hasn't led this team on the ice, maybe he has off the ice. Who knows?

The Rangers thankfully have been scoring a lot of goals because Talbot hasn't been good at all. 27 goals allowed in 8 games is in no way good.

Is AV on crack? No Nash in OT.

Regardless of end result AV needs to start the kid tmo in the nets against buffalo as we have another 3 games in 5 days and cam needs a breather

Interesting to see how this SO goes. Don't think it favors us Miller vs Cam. Plus side no rebounds...:).

Talbot is just VERY very mediocre as a back up. Yes we are getting points with him, but it's not BECAUSE of him, it's inspite of him. I realize backup goalie isn't a huge need, but Cam isn't good enough.

    That was pretty obvious...LOL.

Feel lucky about getting a point.

    Defend Cam please guys...LOL.

We have been so lucky to win these games. The guy is not close to being a starting goalie.

Talbot is good as a BACKUP. He's simply not a starter. His glove his terrible and the rebounds because of his puck control are killers.

He's not good as a backup. He's mediocre at best. He makes some great saves, but overall is mediocre the other 99% of the time.

The lack of hitting by our defense tonight instead of the pathetic stick check and rub your body on theirs was glaring also tonight. Need some muscle on D

We are idiots Mess. No clue what we are talking about. Cam is the man. YES he is 5-1-2 in his 8 starts, but his numbers are awful.

I told you rebound control was awful. Mess and I both said he is not a starting goalie.

4 more goals allowed and an .857 sv%.

Maybe Hank is back in 3 weeks...hopefully. That stretch in early March is going to be a mess.

I feel really good about getting a point despite the Canucks scoring with 2 minutes left. We had no business getting a point tonight. They controlled the game after the 1st period.

Starting to think if we make a pick up it should be for a physical d-man instead of forward as the offense looks fine

Is what it is. Can't get upset over it. We got a point. The Pens are falling apart. Hope we catch the Isles otherwise it could be Caps in round 1.

I am sure the kid will start tomorrow night. Want to win that game. Cannot afford 1 point out of 4 against these teams.

Talbot simply shows zero ability to eat the puck. Everything is a rebound.

Looks like Caps & Isles right now will be fighting for 1st place.
These 3 weeks will eliminate Rangers from that honor.
This team has some work to do. So does Sather.
