Jazz were at home and they caught fire in the fourth quarter. Nothing to be too upset about. In June, you won't care about this game.

 

FOUR. We've lost 4 games to sub500 teams and one of the teams was above 500 when we played them. We have the third best record in the West right now so that gives us HCA in the first round. We're a good road team in the playoffs though. We went 2-1 in Houston last year. And Houston owned us during regular season. We'll be fine. No one can guard Aldridge in the playoffs and he'll have better teammates this year.

 

I don't think seeding or home court means anything to this team. There is a slight danger of missing the playoffs though.

 

Hope sweet Georgia was worth it!

 

The Blazers should watch Teen Wolf on the flight to Memphis and get inspired.

 

Hmmm. Blazers make a trade that is widely applauded, and the team responds with an horrific tank job. We just got a peek behind the curtain of the Blazers' locker room...and I can't say I like what I see.

 

Only way we miss playoffs is if the Suns or Pelicans pass us. Do you REALLY see that happening?

 

Even if we play .500 ball the rest of the year, OKC has to play near .700 to catch us, so missing is highly unlikely. However, any of the 8 teams can get home court right now. We just have the best chance because of our lead in the division.

 

Probably not with those trades and the Davis injury. But Portland needs to pick it up or they'll get swept out of the playoffs.

You've gotta be kidding me. We were right there going into the fourth but Utah caught fire and we didn't have time to respond so we had to rush shots and missed them. No big deal. It will take about 3 weeks to see what this team will look
Iike in the playoffs. We need to work Freeland back into the rotation as well as add Afflalo and Gee. How we played on Utah in February without our whole team means nothing.

Again, how we play in Utah in February means nothing. We just beat Houston in Houston. That means nothing either. But you can't attack the losses if you won't praise the victories. All that matters is that we work Afflalo, Freeland, and Gee into the rotation and get on a roll starting in late March. Then we ride it to the championship.

 

We didn't have our whole team. It was just part of our team. You know what I mean.

 

But February as a whole was a bad month, I thought maybe they had turned it around, but now they just lay the biggest egg of the season tonight. No guarantee that they will get on a roll.

 

Even if OKC DOES pass us, we would need to fall below Phoenix or New Orleans to miss the playoffs. Not gonna happen.

 

We're 4-2 in February with three home games coming up. 6-3 February is likely. Not bad at all.
